"What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have not been discovered." [Emerson]
OUR LIVES as humans depends on the life of plants. Man's life is reciprocal to that of
plants. Thus, we need more than marriage in our lives in order to thrive and benefit. The
story of Adam in Eden (a garden) showed that neatly.
Herbs may have their effects, and variable effects too. Granted that, traditional
usages and medical research are behind the selection of plants below. Names are found in in
Latin and English.

WORDS OF CAUTION: Any information given on this page is not intended to be taken as a
replacement for medical advice. Any person with a condition requiring medical attention
should consult a well qualified practitioner or therapist.
Besides, careful, judicious "well medleys" are
presupposed throughout:
BELOW IS a list of about 380 healing herbs. Some are used for food, most are used for
remedies, and some are poisonous too. A few can be deadly in the wrong hands.
Latin names are to the left, common English names to the right. There are often more
English name variants than suggested here, but a little will do here.
