Development, wit and slogans

Slogans
"Safe through slogans" is of fools. At least in nature.
SMOOTH and capable testing is helped by rising above surfaces and thereby getting a better overview.
The experiences we have, teach us sensible measures too, and more objectivity, it is to be hoped.
Situational handling is aided by both approaches, and more too.

Take care: Supporting "well medleys" are presupposed throughout:

In whatever undertaking

"We humans eat fish and birds, mosquitoes suck our blood, and tigers eat our flesh. If we were to say that birds and fish were created for us to eat, then we would have to admit that we humans were created for the mosquitoes and tigers to feast upon." - Lieh Tzu

There is often more than one way to go through a situation. The butterfly does not adhere to the same approaches as the tiger; it has wings and superb smelling. To have hunches or intuitions may be expressed symbolically by smelling things. In Rikvedic literature that particular symbolism is found. A dog found stolen cattle in an underground cave by smelling where they were. That is a really old story!
The butterfly has his approach, the horse his, and the dog his. It shows that it should be wise to gauge your own ability firsthand or first, in whatever undertaking. Try and think up what you can handle before you get into striving and depleting routines. Some are able to gauge these things well, others not. Experience has much to do with it.
In many situations there is little else to do than to go into things without having a good beginning overview. Experience is had little by little, and it is often very well to listen to expertise to function better.
If not, you have to return in retrospection to the situations you have gone through and learn from them. Much learning is had by "piercing through" the facades and then evaluate carefully. You can do that on your own, and next decide to get things better "next time" or "manjana" - whatever fits you.
Situations easily become unbearable if there are no sensible standards involved. Some teach from experience, and that may help in setting good and fit standards. It is very often well to listen to those who share important experiences afterwards.
Another old way is to "reason it out", to use the left brain hemisphere's logical knacks.
Or maybe you get involved in situations that are beautiful at first look, but which contain vipers on their bellies. If so, rise above beginner's enthusiasm lke a butterfly and seek what really suits yourself.
