Minerva Athena Lessons
Anticipating things well is a task of wisdom.

Take care: Supporting "well medleys" are presupposed throughout:

Minerva - Athena

Minerva, the same as the old Greek goddess Athena

Minerva Athena
Athena (also called Minerva)
MINERVA is the same as Athena. She is the grey-eyed or flashing-eyed maiden of wisdom, the arts, industry, justice, skill, and certain crafts, is also one of victorious battle, a protector of the city (Athens), and the patroness of domestic arts. Her mother is a goddess or nymph of wisdom and the first wife of Zeus.
His head-born offspring, Athena, is the goddess of education, science, reason, intelligent activity, arts and literature - and a wise and prudent adviser. ¤

AS GODDESS of wisdom, of household arts and crafts, of spinning and weaving, of textiles Athena is also inventor of the flute, the plough and the ox-yoke, the horse bridle and the chariot. Identified as Athena Nike (Victory) she is usually depicted with wings as the goddess of victory. Athena is not known to have a bellicose nature, nor does she bear arms except when her country is threatened or attacked. Then she fights well and helps or saves her champions too.
Her companion is the intellectual and civilized side of living and the goddess of victory. Her sacred bird is the owl, which is why wisdom is associated with that bird in our culture. She has some other symbols associated with her too. ¤ [T+, 1.1]

A "Minerva guy" is one that "resonates" in these fields or on these wavelengths, whether they be arts, domestic arts, city planning, certain kinds of music, victorious literature, and ploughing through books in study -
There are very many outlets and combinations of them - of our civilization too - it seems safe to say.

One should make no one stumble

Major Planets

How to learn the order of the nine known planets from the sun and outwards? "Memorize Very Easy Methods - Just Simplify - Uhm - Nine Planets" - something like that helps, as the first letters conform to the first letters of the nine planets.
The following planet bellowing is a brief description of major planets and their presumed effects. It's partly in tune with much shocking information from a solid sleeptalker (not sleepwalker), the American Edgar Cayce, as presented by S. Poplin, MA. [Link].
Now, remember to ask for evidence. Hard evidence is found by facts from the real universe, by direct observations and measurements. Not so hard facts are gathered and sorted and arranged on top of other sources of information, and it is well worth noting that much of that latter sort of information may be wrong, hearsay, distorted, or correct - for much information that has not become verified scientifically, may still be OK! For many things that have not been proved, have not disproved either. Freaks cannot handle that sort of information, just as one or two American proverbs are into:
Twin fools: one doubts nothing, the other everything [Ap 166] — What's the use of cleverness, if foolishness serves? [Ap 101] — All men are fools, but the wisest of fools are called philosophers [Ap 221] — A wise man learns by the experiences of others; an ordinary man learns by his own experience; a fool learns by nobody's experiences [Ap 226]
In our 'birth certificate' (horoscope) there is the Sun and Moon to reckon with too, and the Ascendant is some 'Dawn period' of the day.

Mercury is associated with high mental skill and aplomb. It's fit for a nice-looking fare to get masterly sun-tanned - it assists a good impression a lot, and is thus a corollary to own aplomb.

Venus is indeed the planet of love and harmonious conditions, either natural or man-made, and the will to beautify the home is there. Luxury may be an outcome of getting outsmarted. If sovereign mental adroitness surfaces and reaches into others or surroundings, this skill is eager to beautify and may succeed too.

Mars may bring with it anger and good enough control in an open way. Mars is bold, much as a clean breast most often. Mental muck sets in on top of wrong boldness that may be called preposterous, and one had better be warned against that fare in time. Good and staunch conduct is one of the finest assets. Boldness may be used to serve a lot of others if there is only surface ideas linked to it - or: to serve through bold enterprise may spell "outsmarted one way or other" - there is that risk from being victim of much bluff. Maybe a woman that is turned into a witch is much as suggested here, under the surface.

Jupiter confers universality and ennoblement and may bless one with luxury, including an ability to consider others. It is much of a luxury. If feigning sets in, there are gurus abounding to outsmart oneself through lots of sleek and intrinsically taming efforts - some under the surface. The stupid, persistent arrogance of fictitious besser-wissen (knowing-it-all and so on) of some gurus or assisting helpers "out there", can signify "overdoing it" through feigning and perfidious boldness that brings on loss and dramatic worsening of conditions of serving ones - such artistry.

Saturn - E-HA - , that often functions to thwart and embitter through such as obstacle racing, harsh restrictions, and little rewarding and menial work at times, could represent a need for drastic change! Either illness comes on or there needs to be more or better trust in Amen. Thus, Saturn is quite testing on the nerves and free will, and it shows a golden, jolly way out in a nutshell - these things can seem like a great problem in beginning stages! In the front of that, man learns hairy persistence in some fixed route or drill, and the lesson: You get outsmarted if others say you've got a screw loose to get rid of you, or if cramping or dwarfing institutionalisation sets in for other reasons, like gout - From there, bossing is hated for being on top of you, or over your head, all of which serves to make you an underdog all along, if you're not meticulous and careful - much circumspect and maybe stern and rigidly upright at times too. Watch your sex life early in life, as the gonads are told of here by Edgar Cayce. If you fix and digest much, you may swell up too much from it - such as by stupid arrogance and pride that the ancients called hubris and considered a natural sin - and it should be acted against somehow.

Uranus - SWOSH and WROOOMM - is the planet of wonder on wonder, and can be very, very good in all fairness, and mean guys get Uranus all wrong - yes, fallen handiness may get awfully outsmarted through Uranus. There is time for smoothness and letting it go awry too. One's overall decisions to follow through to some golden route against being outsmarted is much overlooked, much important here. Swallow well, it insists! If your need is to outsmart the being outsmarted, try divination, a lot divination from an expert, but not from stupid machine-mechanics. Computers and other machines rich in random linkages don't really "see" all right that way. You need a soul to see well enough higher up.

Neptune - IIIK! - is adamant. It can tickle us as the mystic transgressor, maybe one more divination expert that strives to operate in mysterious-looking ways through a little mur or lots of finesse, including decor. It can be musical. Oddness is a risk. Many murky, inner attunements can remain largely "unseen" around us, adding ecstasy to much fictitious. An ingurgitation of files. Affinity to water or waves of other kinds. Can seem odd. Can profit from getting greatly misunderstood at times. Hero confusion and bulwarking conclusion to defend a lost cause may set in. Watch connections well against getting outsmarted, don't let them end "up there" in the blue. Let handy service outsmart being misunderstood, if you can. Feel free to be around for it. Fondness of the banner or flag may lead into army matters - into excruciating troubles like gunfire battles and losing own assets.

Pluto - HIDDEN - must be free-wheeling or try fakir measures to stay healthy and heeded. The planet was discussed by Edgar Cayce a long time before it was discovered in the 1930s! He referred to it as Vulcan and the seventh planet from the earth. Regeneration and a growth in consciousness is held to be a Vulcan thing, and good helps towards self-mastery and better self-centredness. The capacity to maintain silence and yet rouse many should be notable, and the hold is one of matter. Others being adamant mean nothing, as this very mystical ruthlessness wins! Also, one should beware of wrath and anguish and getting brutal and underhand lots of times - better keep neatly attuned to the love force like a king and rustic gentleman - if not as a very gallant, ennobling fisher. This 'musical note' insists: Be here now against daydreaming and wishing that is steered too far off - To develop gist is one of the finest assets. and decent attempts to educate a lot handy guys may be robbed if fictitious and filthy law-enforcement sets in. Wishing in anguish may spell outsmarted and robbed of decent education!

NEW!

From time to time several large stones are detected in space around the earth these days. Some seem just about big enough to be classified as planets, but there is much obscurity in the field, at least today (2004). Let us pour cold, cold water onto some findings - there are many ways to do it. The net effect should help rational thinking and handling. The two planets Cuckold and Obstinately and Contortedly Hard To Deal With. The large, daily Norwegian newspaper Verdens Gang in Oslo, wrote the 6th July 1998, page 15, that astronomers in southern France claim to have discovered two more planets. They - the planets, not the researchers of France - are a long way from earth, billiards of kilometres.
One of them, that we name Cuckold for now, may be found to be slouching, loping or lolloping along, aligned to the pineal gland if it is there - and is three times the size of Jupiter, the largest planet so far. Let Great Cuckold be blessed with the litte gopher as it's marking animal. There is no evidence that Jesus is resting like a gopher inside this newly discovered planet while weeds choke good and decent people here on earth, is there?
The other planet, Hard To Deal With, or Vrien, is one and a half the size of Jupiter. It could have the little hedgehog as its hallmark, not Jolly Jumper, and perhaps also the fat and shivering bonnie that is a man underneath the clothes of the other sex, one fond of make-up, a fictitional user of other's ado or attributes, like the drag show artists.
Standing underneath the oak, for both hits it has to be said:
"None of these recently and seemingly found planets is the star of Betlehem - the moving, roving bluff-star that moved about quite like a UFO and never burnt the planet to cinders anyway. Yesterday's great planet can be as difficult to ascertain as where the mind of the gopher roves at night".

Careful astrolore, maybe nothing to get sour and upset about

The farther out in space they reach, the more need for 'night', rest and much discretion of deals they appear to have, and the harder they may be to deal with, one way or other.
And the less jovial and friendly their environment is too.

All of this must be an overlooked key to interpretation of the planetary influences or types we're blessed with.
I who tell you these things, have shown that there may be little difference to be found between terrible wit and hardheaded astrology. This study now turns slowly on yoga massas that made soap opera rigmarole out of many insider teachings - what a murky shame and loss of sagacity!

Precluding wisdom?

Lo [You should keep on] asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding ... in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him ... bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God (...) [The apostle Paul in Colossians 1;9-17]

1. Astrology baked into the engrossing future field of correlative study

GREAT WISDOM should be adequate wisdom and not bring about cramped conditions. Ancient wisdom brought up to date, can make men more proficient. Dr. Sigmund Freud showed one side of it; he reinterpreted Greek myths. Myths fairly often embody fragments of astrological teachings. It must be well-known. Now, he who wants to evaluate astrology as we know it, first has to study it well, and can't do away with getting very proficient in solid, fair inspection and proper judgements and alignments. Few amount to it all.
We have no reason to be blunt, and we should not beat about the bush, but affirm measuredly and well composed if we can: "I know astrology. Sir Isaac Newton did it; Dr. Carl Jung did it; I do it too, and there are many others; big shots in big business, for example. I think carefully mastered and accessed astrology can help someone."
You don't have to sin to study the anatomy or even horoscopes of great avatars - Did you know they share 98% of their genes with little chimps? You should be able to assert as joyfully as you can on top of your upgrades study,
"There is a little difference between Pedigree-Joseph's Jesus and the ape!"
"Vive la differance," the French say in a somewhat different connection.
Now, there is hardly much a chimp in zoo can do in peculiar own ways, and what about his 'cousin' Jesus that took birth? He walked like a man, he talked like a man, appeared to 'know why' like many others, and suffered on the cross like others. It has to be accepted was bound to 'that man thing' a lot.
In this little study or three we find a row of postulates that can be aligned to the starry sky at the moment of birth. If an ape and a world guru are born at the same moment, will their careers be different? Will it show clearly in their birth charts (radix horoscopes)? Think of that and think twice for as long as it takes.

2. We have to ensure enough boldness

GREAT WISDOM is thought to be adequate wisdom. It doesn't have to be sinister to look at, much art sees to that. Dr. Carl Gustav Jung held the view that astrology contains the cream or jewel wisdom from former civilizations - maybe not all of them, though. Up here we think that most forms of wisdom that are brought into some kind of system, should heed the far-off call for joy from Jesus, and fun evokes lots of joy.
One serious question to debate well is whether astrology, its horoscope designs and tenets can be good for you, fun left aside too. Our Bible says much against astrology and it matters to lots of people. In the figurative Bramble Farm of the USA at least one of the gurus (Sri Yukteswar) is held up as an uncommon, yet expert astrologer - and the Farm stands up as fit for the Christian! Can it be?
To ensure boldness enough to inspect astrology all right and judge it well, as Jesus maintains is good - we had better discern initially between three linked concepts. Here they are:
  1. Astrosophy, which we like for its great nature-alignments and many other stringent attainments fit for deep and probing comparisons of 'all sorts', if just adequate, up-to-date reservations are brought into it;
  2. Astroscopy, which looks like astrology in the somewhat arbitrarily modern West - we think you should study it.
  3. Gross idolator astrology from the Bible includes star worship and perhaps even grosser dependency. Idolator astrology is to be banned, for our God of the Bible hardly supports if God didn't change his mind about that too, and not only 'slaying' of foreskins and Saturday rest forever.

You should not indoctrinate

Some bosses are served by inculcating faith in children and young ones without ever giving some verifiable evidence that things are as they want us to believe. There are many and severe dangers in that, including the dangers of indoctrinated willy-nillies and their schemes.
The science enterprise is ideally for treating statements as working hypotheses, that is, tenets to be inspected in fit and square ways, leaving nothing or very little to faith, generally.
On the one hand we have to deal gently with the faith-people, the indoctrinated ones, so as not to harm them through basic rationality or worse. On the other hand we have the freedom to think as we like among such people and perhaps do much of what we ourselves would like too - after gross Sunday School soap indoctrination is well over with.
Well aligned with that initial survey we operate with:
  1. Sound astrological tenets - They are not too hard to find here.
  2. A mixture of possibly sound and very unsound ones - Here is the common lot.
  3. Dubious, murky or bad tenets - Gentlemen, are we so wild and crude that we have to throw out the baby with the dirty bathing water, and even without fair inspection and modern re-interpretations?

3. We should not commit adultery with concepts and do away with good and fair things from there on, beacause of it

A question: "Which side are you on?"
Reply: "It is the side of favourable and fair and adequate judgements, as Jesus publicly said he was."

Now, since modern astrology seldom glides down into feigning and stupid worship, what God meant by 'astrology' in days gone by, hardly fits now. It could be good and fair and fit to purge the key term 'astrology' from the low-geared condemnation from Jews - perhaps minding that Jewish mysticism used astrology and its wisdom for a long time, many centuries. It's called Kabbalah, contains its astrological wisdom - but its origin may be alien.
However, since the key term 'astrology' is still aligned with very much unverified stuff, it can indeed pay to discern between our astrosophy (much verified or sensible extracts) and the other side of it (the little verified ones), and preserve the right to change one's mind in the matter later, as artfully as well-nigh possible."

Various humorous astro-analyses to come might astonish some adherents of unsound astrology and seem too cross toward many Indian avatars, but the scientific fare is basically not a respecter of persons - not a disrespecter either - but a respecter of the methods and the ways of good science. One tries to remain neutral. On the next couple of pages you may well study your reactions and thoughts to get some training. Who knows? It could be good for something.
In the final analysis we had better discern between sound tenets and unsound tenets, and get skilled in collecting the better ones and make good use of them too. Good sifting and very clever arrangements help such work. It's also part of a typical academic enterprise, or humaniora, as some call it.
