Unpredictable Hippo

Lo Flowers do not remain, however nice they are, they usually pass over into fruits and berries and seeds in the great cycle of 'things'. We have to strive to make sensible idea flowers work well in our lives.

Dirty Clothes

Paramahansa Yogananda (1893-1952) has indeed shown the wisdom of an American proverb, "Big names often stand on small legs (American proverb)." He called about a dozen persons he knew, including his father, Christs. They had made progress in kriya breathing.
One means to escape being made sluggard-use of by cringing ones, is to appear rude, conform, tendentious, and not very much accessible. Eating garlic may do in some settings, and wearing dirty clothes in others. Greasy skin on the face may be quite a turn-off too. There are so many ways. You do not always have to look stupid. Marpa, Milarepa's guru, did a lot to pass as a drunkard. [Tm]
Big benefits of living alone may be secured thus, benefits otherwise very hard to attain.
Some strange things are as strange as they sound.

King Hippo

IMAGE King Hippo as an emblem of business magnates with their own pools to dive in, is a main killer on the African continent, and some magnates sell weapons so that Africans murder, maim and kill one another. Not much progress is had by that.
Significant reasons for dauntless confidence in the hippopotamus lifestyle with its waterbed rest and fearless sleep.
To become like a hippo magnate, go for good schooling that leads to that future living. Get an entry into the heavy-weight class and circles. Few things may be as hard as that deep within. It costs to be a faded celebrity too, and most celebrities do fade.

Mother Kali Worship - Beware

Gentle, general hints and nudges help some to see the lay of the land by sweeping ideas. Various New Testament passages identify a lamb as a heaven's saviour. A sheep - worthy of honour and wisdom and glory? Why not you?
Express your doubts before it is too late, for example, "Is black and killing Kali love all good?" There is so much dark trickery around. You can get crushed by it. So it may pay to clarify things before much gets out of control.
To steer outside of the Mother worshipper cult of SRF, benefit from good investigations, basic information, and sound discrimination. There is not much fairness in the world, and, after all, the goddess that is called Kali is basically a murderess, possibly drunk, and informs encyclopedieas. Kali, worsphipped by Yogananda, is not an angel. She wears a necklage of human skulls. Consider, "The head lost means everything lost" [German proverb, Sx 31]

Bulwark

We should bulwark against things that may cause sorrows. By circumspection and traditional customs and decrees, some manage to bulwark against considerable sorrows. Study proverbs can help common man and maim next to nothing.
There is often joy in being with likeminded persons. [cf. Timothy 2:2]
The good example is half the sermon. (German, Sl 142]
Gullible, naive and inexperienced ones may be taken in.
Man is fit for wearing clothes. On top of this and nicely fit, conform enough actions, he goes further and further - the one that has rights or hegemony on earth, all according to books humans wrote with teachings ascribed to God.
If someone says, "Things are better than they seem," you do not have to believe it.

Polite

What is polite? Lack of candour is not polite to Being. Frankness is one of the noble assets. If you are not allowed to be free-flowing yet polite, maybe you have come across someone that passes on his largely-stunted-and-stunting problems. There are many such fellows. Really good manners are not for covering your sincere nature; to the contrary. Try to bulwark much and often, to preserve your assets and fair play.
At least try to be fair and to the point. It could pay in the long run.
A day very soon becomes yesterday, which you may not do very much about. Today, make hay while the sun shines. Perhaps American Proverbs could meet some of your needs [Ap]. A sensible conclusion may help some. We have to judge and ascertain many things on our own much and often.
"There is nothing as practical as a good theory," - Kurt Lewin. [Sop 11]. Proverbs are "folk theories", in part to test out, says Jerome Bruner. I agree.

A show of humility is not the best there is

Those who make a show of humility, lack sincerity.
It is possible to instruct a letter-writer in how to go about in a straight, fair and ordered way, also in the face of uncertainties.
A fool will never change his mind. To get it better, study under someone to respect, and take notes of highly important points, to be a better student and get it better after the education.

Gentlemen with tapeworms

A gentleman insists on being oneself as well deserved. The true gentleman is not fond of spiritual tapeworms. Tapeworms seek to get it warm and cosy with no or few extertions and expenses. The tapeworm spiritual is not really afire, and gets outsmarted in all likelihood. Against it: Earn, then learn.
It is a mistake to be fond of well sheltered, soaking and sponging followers and other tapeworms. Some think offender asserts too much for most part - where is the evidence it is so? Passive-aggressive, over-submissive offenders may be worse, all in all.
