Fair Benevolence
And he made an upstart dynasty break and fall asunder. Jesus said he was the wisest man on earth -

Benevolence"Each of us may be pressed to ascertain and judge this and that, in renovating our homes too." TK
Note how benevolent.
Alas! This is different:"Knock and it shall NOT be opened to you." - Jesus. [Matthew 25:1-13] In another place he says it shall be opened, but in this often overlooked passage there is a different note - only half of the "knocker brides" get in at last. This is why Jesus spoke in parables: "Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. [Matthew 13:11-17, excerpts] - A garrulous programme. Jesus said he had not taught in secret [John 18:20], which he also said had done . . . Compare his "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them." [it is in Matthew 13:11 ff]. - According to the gospels Jesus is speaking with two tongues again. "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them," said Jesus, among other things. [See Matthew 5:17-19]. - He did both - broke some tenets and flexed others - and kept the rest, perhaps. Jesus guaranteed he did not do away with the Mosaic Law, even though he did in part. He let followers ignore Sabbath rest or Sabbath rules, the yearly scapegoat ritual that the bible teaches was all that was necessary to make the people clean as lastingly ordained by God - and certain temple practices of the Law that Jewish authorities held dear.
