"Setting Aside One Hour of One Day . . ."

Make significantly and essentially proper choices

Image
The sage Stalking Wolf said,
"There is . . . possible futures. The 'now' is like the palm of a hand, with each finger being the possible future, and . . . one of the futures is [presumably] the most powerful, the way that the main course of events will . . . take us . . ."
      He always left a choice.
"If a man could make the right choices, then he could significantly alter the course of the possible future. No man, then, should feel insignificant, for it only takes one man to alter the consciousness of mankind through the Spirit-that-moves-in-all-things. In essence, one thought influences another, then another, until . . ."

The question

"Did these people . . . seek spiritual enlightenment and rapture?"
He would teach not physical lessons of survival, tracking or awareness, but lessons dealing with the awareness of Spirit. One day he walked over to a gravestone, having a twelve-year old boy was with him. . . . The name on the grave was gone, but at the bottom was carved clearly: "12 years old". He said,
"It is not enough that man be just happy in the flesh, but he must also be happy and joyous in spirit. For without spiritual happiness and rapture, life is shallow. Without seeking the things of the Spirit, life is half lived and empty. And by spiritual life I do not mean just setting aside one hour of one day of one week for worship, but to seek the things of the spirit every moment of every day . . . did these people . . . seek spiritual enlightenment and rapture? Did they just give in to a life that was little more than work? They were given a choice every day of their lives-as you will be given a choice to seek the rapture of the Spirit or to resign yourselves to a life of meaningless work. The end result is always . . . forgotten graves and forgotten dreams of forgotten people. It is not important that anyone notice or remember, but that you work to touch God and affect in a positive way the consciousness of the Spirit-that-moves-in-all-things, thus bringing the consciousness of man closer to the Creator."
The boy understood, "I should live life as if I were to die tomorrow . . . No one can be assured of another day, but we must live each day fully, in flesh and most of all in Spirit."

Lessons on "life force"

"It is this same consciousness that runs through man, Nature and the Earth-that which we call the 'Spirit-that-moves-in-all-things', or the 'life force'," said Stalking Wolf. "The same Spirit that moves within the birds also moves within you. . . . It is the difference we make that is important.
It is not enough just to seek the things of the Spirit on a personal level. To do so is selfish, and those who just seek the spiritual realms for themselves are not working to change the Spirit that moves through the consciousness of man. Instead they are running away, hiding . . . Spiritual man must then work for a principle . . .
A man not living his Vision is living death."

Pay

"We must pay for the sins of our grandfathers and grandmothers . . . we cannot run away; far too many in the past have run away. It is very easy to live a spiritual life away from man, but the truth of Vision in spiritual life can only be tested and become a reality when lived near society."

From the Krishna Writings

Krishna writings are classical literature in India. Krishna allegedly says in the Bhagavad-gita,

I'm Narada among the sages. (Bag 10;26)
I'm Makara [a fable monster, half dolphin, half crocodile]. (Bag 10;31)
I'm all-devouring death. (Bag 10;34)
I'm the fraud of the gambler. (Bag 10;36)
Seek me. (7;16)

"Seek me" - what Indians call bhakti, devotion, is for that. Then, does everything feel all right now?

What a relief: Greek classics may teem with vulgar subjects

THE POET and translator of many Greek classics, Robert Fitzgerald (1911-1985), worried sometimes that these classic tales were lost on young people. But he was heartened, not long before his death, by an incident his wife related.
Two young women were wheeling their bicycles ahead of her through a college campus. Just before they turned off the path one young woman said to the other,
"You know what I said to him? I said, "You know that scene where Hector got dragged by his ankles through the blood and the dust? Well," I said, "I hope that happens to you."" - from The New Yorker, February 5, 1985

God Krishna, who can it be? How many? A Great Christian-helping giant, a great blunder?

Big and able to fly

NO KNOWN SUN-MELT-DOWN. Shyama Lahiri is quoted to say, "The old father (Babaji) is Lord Krishna," and "I myself am Lord Krishna." (Sayings 94 and 55). What does it mean? There is an esoteric meaning that stands out: A successful yogi has identified himself with Hari Krishna or anyone else through a process of interiorising his deep mind, eventually thinks he is Krishna, or Hari, and so on. That seems to be a large part of what Shyama Lahiri writes about. He also says he becomes the Sun - which should be big and some millions degrees hot, but he is not known for causing terrible melt-downs where he was sitting cross-legged. His various statements may rather be information of a giant climb: making spiritual progress, but not to be man-handled (led as dictated).
Krishna also says he is such all-devouring death - and fraud. Ask yourself whether it is good to trust a fraud that is able to kill on the largest scale possible in the universe.
It does not appear to help a lot to be duped, tricked and serving big ones after that. There is some documentation of these things already. [See Bhagavad-gita 10:34 and 36]
  • Do not let them complicate the sources of your good living.

Some giants levitate, they say

GIANTS WITHOUT GOOSE FEATHERS ARE SPIRITUAL ENTITIES. We can tentatively postulate "white giants, black giants and blue-grey giants" - at least for starters. A giant means 'spiritual entity' in this terminology. Some think spiritual entities can fly, because gods and angels have been portrayed with goose wings or duck wings since Greek antiquity, and so on. Speaking of that sort of imaginative art, it is impossible for the goose wings that are painted by artists, to cause any take-off. The wings are not big enough for grown-up humans. The wing span is far too small, there are no muscles and sinews and bones to do the very hard work of moving the wings, ordinarily there is just some silly lump between the shoulder blades to fix them there. So just think the goose feathers or duck feathers are symbolic for "subtle". That could work fine.
TO LEVITATE IS FOUND POSSIBLE. There are very many records that some saints levitate and are transported in the air. That is well recorded by the Church, for example. But have these saints got wings for it? Hardly never, if ever. But birds can fly through the air due to particular designs where the wings have muscles and sinews too - And as for birds, many other colours are possible. There is no bird racism here, only a counterpart to white magic, black magic and the sorts in between them. These things are reckoned with among Tibetans, explains Dr. W. Y. Evans-Wentz in some books.
  • You are connected to your multidimensional selves through your feelings. So it is through their feelings where primarily humans get stuck.

Being Krishna and no shark

In chapter 10 of the Bhagavad Gita Krishna tells how and what he is - he claims to be the very best in a long row of "fields", but also to be the source of all [10:8]. That is his main point. So Krishna is the source of Jesus and God the Holy Ghost, according to this.
Now, although Krishna appears to insist he is a shark [10:31] - it is not true to tell, even if many English translations have it that way, as Krishna says he is Makara, a fable monster that is half dolphin, half crocodile [Cf. Wyp]. Arjuna may feel he has the right to think "I am Arjuna" too . . .
The Old Testament says God's most holy name is "I am what I am (for now at least)" or "I am what I will be" (I am in a process of becoming too; let us hope it turns out well with me). The likelihood is there is no virulent monster beneath your bed. A poisonous snake maybe, many bugs, perhaps, and a host ot tiny creatures you do not see - but you may help yourself a lot by keeping it clean.
  • It is not wise to fear a half-crocodile you have only read of; it may not be functional.

The problems of ducks appear once they get out of their waters

Aldous Huxley finds that the Uddhava Gita - its teachings are told by Krishna - expresses the essence of Hinduism almost as forcefully as the Bhagavad Gita. [Cf. Sl] Uddhava Gita is almost the whole of Book 11 in the ancient Sanskrit classic Srimad Bhagavatam, which is one of the major puranas. It means it belongs to a genre of literature linked up to fairy-tale like stories and words that are sagacious to look at. Some of the words are.
Bhagavan Krishna linked statements The Atman is ... neither bound nor free in truth, since the gunas originate from Maya. I know neither bondage nor freedom. (...)
You should know ... that enlightenment and nescience are my powers, produced by my Maya, and operating from all eternity, and having respectively the power to release embodied souls and to keep them in bondage. - Krishna in Srimad Bhagavatam [Sh 121:1-3]
The Atman is the individualised godhood, godness. The concept 'Atma(n)' may well be the god that Jesus suggests you are [John 10:34]. Individual godhood can evolve inside and matter as a universal godhood. It takes place inside.
Maya is a tricky concept. Vivekananda says it is not much understood. And it is horribly misunderstood and satanised in Paramahansa Yogananda's autobiography. [LINK] Maya includes the power to understand, but is erroneously spoken of by him or his editor as Satan of the Bible. His book'sideas are Satanic, then, by his definition of maya. His autobiography does contain downing, illiteral, "home-brewed" satanisation too. By contrast, Dr. Heinrich Zimmer devotes much space to explain from Indian traditions on Maya. They differ, for there is no unity in them among Indian savants either. Maya in Sankara is one more quite recent work that helps us to grapple with this tricky concept from antiquity. [Cf. Via: index; Pa: index; Daff; Mis?]
The gunas are substanceless qualitities, in other words insubstantial ideas. How that "stuff" could evolve a globe, is not for us to dream about.
Eternity is a big word - it denotes exasperation to some - or coming to one's limits.
In this teaching we note: What is called bondage is living, freedom is like dying - we do not know how happy you are about that if your life is sweet, as in la dolce vita. It is not bad in itself. It depends among other things on what you put into it. La dolce vita, sweet life, is not what all good persons consider bondage. They have different notions than the master(s) of the Bhagavatam.
Have bad and rotten guys got the means to ascertain what stoutness is like, and why it is desirable? Degrading testimony should not count for being just overbossy.

Did Dionysos (Bacchus) conquered Asia?

The Roman poet Ovid (Publius Ovidius Naso, 43 BC - AD 17) writes:
"The god Dionysos (later Bacchus) ... has conquered the East as far as the land where swarthy India is watered by remote Ganges' stream" [Cf. Met 94] (2)
There is historical evidence around that Krishna existed. Krishna
  1. has an esoteric significance for insiders;
  2. is at the very least somebody of fiction.
  3. actually appears to have flourished long ago in India.
The master behind Bramble Farm can be called Maharaja - great raja, or great king. That is a very bad omen in the light of 1 Samuel 8, where the king is shown to be the enemy of his people.

Dr. Dillon's Study

Dr. Jane Dillon's doctoral dissertation from the University of California, San Diego, has been 'let loose'. It goes into thriving in an SRF monastic setting. Copies can be had through the university's library service and from: [Check B - Sociological research]
THE SUSPICIONS THAT GREW WORSE. Dr. Dillon's work is rooted in ten years of field research. It goes into the established ways, means and adaptations of SRF monastics in San Diego county. Maybe a year or so after Dillon's dissertation was made public, about one third of the SRF monastics left SRF premises - left SRF - in dismay and anguish. Some of them arranged a discussion board where there are over 14,000 postings by now. Dillon's dissertation may not have caught the anguish of monastics, their dark, blunt despair and lack of thriving that developed over years but was kept largely hidden out of fear for gruff superiors and "stool pidgeons". To the degree her dissertation did not catch such main currents, it is not a deep-probing work, and its possibly over-positive conclusions of thriving among SRF monastics may have been due to surface shows, shewbread thriving, self-defence, neurotic passes, and the like. True compassion would have rectified alarming faults.
SRF's guru-founder talked against himself many times, and lead many followers to clumsy Mother worship in the name of Jesus. Results of such unhinged transgressionism is not helped very much by murky charm, is the bet. Deceptions, feigning, and trickery abound in the world.

The highest god of Indians eased and aided evil warfare

THIS TALE is from the ancient Hindu scripture Sive Purana: Once on a time dirty deva-gods envied the happy inhabitants of three fabulous cities. The gods crawled to their supreme blasphemer - it must have been god Shiva - and plotted a lot.
Shiva transmitted guru-telepathically to darling Vishnu, and the Master came along to lead astray. Feel free to note:
"Here could even be the master pattern that is most possible or transferrable! He might come to all sorts of non-Hindus to lead astray and cause downfalls - maybe or maybe not. Better be on the safe side and stay away from him, no matter how he lies." [Si] You find the fuller text with solid references on another page: [LINK]

The Indian story hinted at here, shows that the highest Hindu god willed the capacity of master-misled, formerly staunch victims and their kin to get thwarted and dwarfed. It could be that guru customs, loyalty rituals and decrees are for that. What do you say? We have to survey and perhaps mount the evidence as it comes to the fore.
What we are hinting at, could be jeering, Guruist warfare in the Indian way - a bit rabbit-looking at first, ending in distress.
Now the tale's over. The gist right above is from an old book for Shiva worshippers. [Si] Find the long story boiled down here, with the needed references allotted. Also feel free to ponder the excruciating:
"What do we need enemies for if we have bloody f(r)iends like faking gurus to lord over us?"

Thwarted living in the name of Christ

LoLots of Indian minds are watered by romantic synergy-ideals

To stay on the safe side
some need to live -
Paramahansa Yogananda instituted a hybrid religion. In part he swindled to make Bible gist seemingly conform to his message: "The Holy Ghost is energy" [see Ak 299]. But that is not all there is to the Bible's comforting, speaking, reminding God. [LINK]
We should love to go after good and healthy outlets. It could be good to be spoon-fed in the art of treasured mastery of living. And let us muster some common sense by the pinpointing: "Lots of masters are not as fair and fit as they purport to be, for they tell untruths," no matter how dear they pretend to be. By being taken in by hypocritical elements, a country may be ruined a lot, and it does not help to become wistful.

LoWhat is called a good story suits the mentality of those who look up to it, after all

To cut it short, if Paramahansa Yogananda's teachings about the illusory nature of the world is real, then many things did not happen and do not happen. Even his words about the world and illusions must be called part of the unreal too -
The fit story is food for thought. Mahavatar Babaji (who, where and what is he where all is unreal?) is now presented as Krishna, Krishna is Narada, the master-crook. Is not it better to become a master cook, a chef?
So Babaji is presented as Krishna by followers of Yogananda - and Krishna is the deceptive Narada, according to parts of classical Hindu literature. Can it help us here? It is sagacity to expect the worst; and be nicely forewarned-forearmed and thus bulwark and prepare so that nasty things wo not happen or are lessened in extent and duration and so on. That is much to live out!
The old Indian story we have given two links to above, show indeed that Hindu gods can be bad fellows and that the guru could be up to making wretches. The Persian religion-maker Zoroasther came to that conclusion, and Christian religion took over much from Persian sources. We have noted that the nice-looking Yogananda does not go against worshipping idols. In his autobiography he ritually worships a stone - it can be called the test of the least in the kingdom of heaven, or what? - Cf. Matthew 5:19
The idol Krishna is of a double nature, yet it is all a game, a carefully built Indian farce, if Yogananda saw the light when he said the whole universe (and all in it) are illusory, not real. On top of that, maybe giants that come in groups and call each other Krishnas, masters and hardly butchers, are not wholly bad after all ... I have to admit that, and yet -
A rather willing boss it seems, Yogananda later made others study his sermonising botch - or written down delusions or illusions, if you like. The wise man in this context lives to tell - for example about Yogananda's use of American "greatness" desires. Surmise that inside his Cosmic degradation: He degraded Christian terminology by cosmos-things, plainly seen. (4)
Do not feel much attracted to pigs - never declare their stunted greatness.
Yogananda - one of the much self-appointed man-catching giants of Faroffstan - turns the much acclaimed term Christ into a Hindu abstract, some "omnipresent Christ Consciousness". And Christ is also king, much like John Lackland, brother of Richard the lionhearted. Let that warn us: [Ak 298]
When primitive and stubborn Jews said together, "Give us a king to lead us," it made God sad. He told Samuel the judge:
"Well, well, they've rejected me - warn them:
"This is what the soap opera highest or "King Kong" over you might do:
He'll take your sons and take your daughters to be perfumers. He'll take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to attendants. You yourselves will become his slaves.
When that day comes, you'll cry out for relief from the king, and the Lord won't answer - much as in America today."
This said, the Jews refused to listen.
A long time after being kidnapped, Babaji is recognised and often said to be a king, Maharaja - great raja, or great king.
So choose a good life if you can. - See Deuteronomy 30:15-19.

3    Krishna is held to be one of the body descensions of the Indian god Vishnu. Another was a good boar

3RD SECTION IT PAYS to be normal, and thus and reserve grief "for those who are worthy of grief". (Cf. Bag 2;11)
"They are Krishna" is a deep issue, and take a look at: "Is this an outlet of sound imagination?" or being "oneself with inspiration"? Are there possible loads involved? "Is this typical of finer sides of life?" That could help. The good thing is to identify with ourselves, while not pulling the legs of anyone. Look to Krishna. In the Mahabharata he admits that he was the infiltrative cause of a disastrous war - it was manipulated into being by him.
DAO GAINED      (Cf. Bag 10:31, 34)

How great are you?

A godly giant can possess a sort of tact that brings on sinister execution, even of a whole warlord caste, like Bhagavan Krishna swore to do and saw through! A woman with five husbands were stripped naked and humiliated by a king. That caused the Great War that all were battered by as time went by. The very long epic Mahabharata openly speaks of these things. Even having Krishna for a friend did not solve the emptiness and other problems the war brought on, and some time later the whole family of Krishna was wiped out, and Krishna himself was killed by a poisoned arrow. The end of it.

LoTo be candid can be good, to bear fruit can be largely better

In this series of candid summaries, let us beware of the great fog: Fog is a metaphor denoting a lot confusion, like the British "We're all at sea (disoriented)". This is my fog warning: Beware of the god and great giant that were hatched from heavenly eggs in the name of airy John Christ. Do solid deeds or fruits (including Christian ones) come from things like that?

LoThe kidnapped cub may later turn into a kidnapper in aligned fashion - is that so strange?

He who has been presented as Krishna by well-meaning followers and so on on the Internet and elsewhere, is also known to work hard for savourly dealing. Some include much humility - much as soap-opera fond folks may need nowadays. One should not kidnap others. This said, "Jews refused to listen". And in the gospels Jesus refused to accept theft as well.

3    Never listen to a flock of thieves as they make up excuses for thieving either

3RD SECTION GURUS who mean they are Krishna, obviously make use of many fiction tales - poetic works - horary, well-tried or infiltrative jargon, or simply thrive from long boaster song Bhagavad Gita. It could happen. You could do the same if free from shame. But if you do not like the boasting god's game, get out of that for a normal fare instead. In that way you may never become well known, because you are strong enough deep inside - or decent, or candid - it can be thus. Let us remember enigmatic Laozi:
The best rulers of old had fine natures, mysterious, too deep,
they could not be understood. (Hymn 15)

Of the best the people hardly ever know they exist;
The next best they flock to and praise for nothing.
The next they shrink from (etc.). (Hymn 17) [Ref.]

Dark killer qualities

Krishna" means "black", "blue" even "dark brown". Professors Dimmitt and van Buitenen explain him as "black", but there are other options. [Clh 101; Viom 1]

LoIn between the charming killing expert helps servants of his

HOW IS "Lord Killer"? In the old books that Professors van Buitenen and Dimmitt render from, he's of a double nature, in part presented as a heroic king. He's marked by trickery, deceit, and cold-blooded subterfuges. He arranges the demise of his own family, allowing its members to annihilate each other. [Cf. Clh 101, 105, 104, 102]
Cosmic giant charm often conceals his deeper motives and ends. He is a lover who leaves the one that loves him most. She's called Radha. He manipulates incidents towards a big war with much skill. [Clh 105, 104, 101] (2)
In between he gratifies desires of his females - even milkmaids and cowherd women - as their partner in love. It can be a so-called spiritual, deep love. Krishna fathers a vast and nameless horde of giant-strong, able sons. He seems to have two separate personalities. [Clh 103, 104, 102]

LoThe foremost killing guys learn how to betray and execute their own uncles and stick to diplomacy from there on. Look to Krishna. He did

SIMPLE people in rustic settings regard him with awe and love. He coldly tricks others into giant self-destruction. [Clh 103.105]
Apparently irresponsible, he uses cunning or seductive messages of music. And he betrays or tricks others so that they conform to some evil plans. [Clh 105; 103; 105]
He slays humans, trickster to the end, both supernatural and human. He can ignore social etiquette. Two of his tasks on earth are to destroy a relative and fell trees. He love-plays to his heart's delight. [Clh 104, 103, 105, 102, 103] (4)

3    The bragging expert is not much of an expert if he hates marriage - or his own wife

3RD SECTION AT LAST he assumes the mantle of manhood; he kidnaps and takes 18.000 wives into his harem. [Clh 104]

Dark-skinned buffalo or hero of Hindu folklore

A lover who leaves the one that loves him the most,
can also father a vast horde of sons.
If he goes on to kidnap and take over 16 000 fine women
he can also father a vast horde of sons,
that mantle of manhood.

Giants are at times hidden giants. Could rats be hidden giants and worshipped legitimately as some goddess? It is done in India. Now, what about yourself?

If the fox comes along and says he's Lord Krisha, which Krishna?

We have found "I'm the shark ... all-devouring death ..." (Op.cit.) in notable English Gita translations. It is to be monster Makara, half dolphin, half crocodile, however. So do not fully believe it if someone explains: "He's the Cosmic Shark, you see, and death in his horrible mouth is just fine for all of you (blah, blah) - And Jesus is just for it - seen in my vision the other night (I have learnt to see what I will . . .)"
Further suggestion: The shark is primitive. You should be more highly evolved.

Now we are suspicious, arent' we?

A chatting king who finds it highly opportune to say such as: "I'm Krishna - (included is a mythological monster)," what is best to do with that one? An unwelcome childhood may lie at the bottom - but say little if solid proof is missing. To cope well we need to understand much. In fact, Jesus did not fit in at home or in his country - his relatives wanted him killed at a time, and at last the country's religious elite had him killed. He was no king, but aspired to a "Son of David" reputation through Joseph, who was not his biological father, but married Mary so that she would not be executed for "illegitimate sex with a stranger", the Bible tells. It was against the Law, and the punishment was shame and disgrace and perhaps a public stoning. So Joseph married her, and Jesus found it suitable to claim the Messiah (king) status.
Nor did Bhagavan Krishna have a very good childhood. First, he was a changeling of a deviant dark complexion. Many were intent on killing him, especially his uncle, King Kamsa.
Do people agree to set up rigmarole and preach that King God is on our side over and over, as tensely or wildly as pressures demand? Have you noticed that in 1 Samuel 8 and later God explicitly warns against having a king? He is the enemy on top, it says. Maybe king-hailing ones are a bit off. Some are too religious-talking-flaunting instead of go-to-your-closet-praying ones. Well, see for yourself to judge for yourself.
In our view, very pressed persons more easily become members of beg-and-flaunt circles, apparently seeking relief in more authoritarian frames than common people. In the middle of much big-mouthed bragging there is "dwindled self-esteem manifesting by big words and a loud mouth - at times". Selfhelp.
Take a lucid look at yourself for a day or so as well from time time, as the guru Paramahansa Yogananda called for - some sound self-inspection before taking to the sword and dying by the sword and leading unfulfilled lives - An Internet offering into self-understanding is still given here. There are many other sites along psychoanalytic lines.
Feel free to enjoy and have a good day, one after another.
To hear the Bhagavad Gita in a bad translation may not do as good as listening to birds twittering around. For they do not talk back and are plainer to see than Bible-King hailing out of the way.
In a book about Zen and other facets of Far Eastern culture, Aage Marcus retells a Zen story about how a teacher was about to sermonise when a bird suddenly started to sing in front of the people who were there.
When it finished, the Zen teacher said: "The sermon is over."
This little story is found deep in a non-defective Danish book, Den blaa dragen. [Ded 93] (#1.2)

A badger having a hard time

IN ROUGH waters it hardly pays to ask "Who's the big, bad wolf - clever at puffing and breathing?"
You could as well ask: "Who's great today? It can hardly be one of the conquistadors, one who is dead. Thus, stay alive if you want to be reckoned among the living ones - and beware of abstractions.
Do not ask what you can do for a mitten, instead as what a mitten can do for you. Hm, let us not refuse to ask what an alien or invader is likely to do for us - instead of helping his own people back home - eh? And then we have the more Kennedy-looking: Do not ask what you can do for an alien, instead ask what an alien transgressor really is up to - and that he wants to do to you.
No rest for the wicked (American proverb) [Ap 506].
On Internet sites Babaji is presented at least as an insider's Krishna. Maybe it implies having terribly much to do, and all can't be fun - swallowing stars, being dark death over and over - a kind of giant Sysyphus work, perhaps - that sort of business. It's strong work, and strong deeds often look good. The miracles of Heracles attest to that outlook. So the deeds of Sysyphus could look good, no matter what. Uh, there can be times when it is hard to understand what gurus mean or purport by what they say or set to operate. Yet it seems well founded to think.
Now, let us think in tune with Encyclopedia Britannica Online [Ebo]: Sisyphus was a legendary king of Corinth, marked by cunning. He was condemned to repeat the cycle of rolling a heavy rock up a hill in Hades only to have it roll down again as soon has he had brought it to the summit. Sisyphus was, like Prometheus, a widely popular figure of folklore - a trickster, even thief. He was depicted as punished for cheating Death. [Ebo]
To cheat gurus and slay and conquer rotten gurus to avoid dying and losing terrain, is great counsel inside Bhagavad Gita. Krishna himself advocates just that sort of deal. Let us look into it to understand a greater guru than he who is "just one of the Krishnas" and not completely full as being himself full well - Hm, let us not be outsmarted.

Play while you play, work while you work (American proverb)
In chapter two, the non-violent warrior Arjuna says such as: "It would be better to live on alms than to slay noble gurus ... nor do we know whether we shall conquer them". (Bag 2;4-6).
I take that for granted. Is he Krishna at once takes him to task, "You grieve for those who are not worthy of grief". (Bag 2;11)
Let us think of a modern Krishna in this light:
Bhagavan Krishna linked statements The wise grieve neither for the living nor for the dead. (Bag 2.11)
Stop grieving for those who are not worthy of grief". (Cf. Bag 2;11)
Consider your duty (it could be "master warrior fights"). (From Bag 2;31)
(No,) the wise are not deluded [somehow] (Bag 2.13)
Treating [at least such as] pleasure, gain, and victory alike, engage yourself in your duty. (Cf. Bag 2;38)
One who thinks Spirit is a slayer (or can get slain) both are ignorant. (Bag 2;19)
"If I do not engage in action relentlessly, O Arjuna, people would follow My path in every way." (Bag 3;23)
Krishna also says,
Bhagavan Krishna linked statements "When one perceives diverse variety of beings resting in One and spreading out from That alone,
then one attains Brahman." (Bag 13.30)
Maybe we should not link up the death-swindling Sisyphus to anyone in real life, as a matter of good tact and favours.
Further, a two-fold ancient way of Krishna worship is bhakti (devotion) and being very strict with oneself. A lot Hindus will say they need it - they live it -
Traditional yoga is more or less penance, whatever way you look at it. And penance is being stricter with yourself than a lot nannies. You think this is fun? It must resemble being a prison inmate in some respects, only a lot more severe for gurus. Mahavatar Babaji has finally related many details from his life - better late than never - and some are said to be just as in the book Babaji and the 18 Siddha Kriya Yoga tradition, by M. Govindan. In close consonance with the Internet entry right above, let us put up with this, as it is greatly interesting stuff by and large:
He who may be told of now, so long after AD 203, was born
in a small village on the south-east coast of his own country.
The timing indicated the advent of someone with many hallmarks in common with Queatzequatl of Central America, believe that -
His parents gave him the name "King" in Indian.
After being kidnapped at five, he met some sage Indian teachers.
With their help he won enlightenment at the age of 11 or 12.
At sixteen he saw he was undying.
His disciple, guru Lahiri, has declared that Babaji (the old father) is Krishna - but isn't he everybody? - and "I myself am Lord Krishna.". (Sayings 94 and 55)
When one transcends ... desires, ... he becomes ... Krishna himself. (Essence of saying 85)
The old father (Babaji) is Krishna. (Saying 94.)
I myself am Krishna. (Saying 55)
Krishna says he is a shark (a fable-being, Maraka), really. There it is. These gurus never seem to desire - have they desired to become desireless? They could appear to desire to be known as Krishna, and never desire to help anybody. For they just do not desire - eh.
Expect no help from those who do not desire to help - it stands to reason. This could in fact be the reason why Jesus called false teachers hungry wolves and not decent gurus.
You can never be sure; that is the main point for now. Our Krishna is in part the fooling body descent of Vishnu, (Bag 10;21) at times deceitful. Lots of idol-hailing books tell us. Speaking of the historical figure we heed as Krishna, none appears to be reliable, with just a few, possible exceptions: three tiny notes in the vast Upanishad tradition. Upanishads are mystic stories and little less. There is a fairly good chance they were designed to make you a follower, not so much of an autonomous, independent guy with own, innate self-esteem - and there is a chance just such high and treasured things can get plundered by follower-seeking Asiatic traditions with their various holy cows and insensible decrees.
Like the cult figure Rama of the epic Ramayana, Krishna has (a) an esoteric significance for insiders, but (b) he's also a somebody of fiction. And finally, (c) he might have been somebody that actually lived. The evidence for a historical Krishna is meagre, next to hearsay. Since I launched this congenial division into three facets, let relevant literature be hinted at below.

Rama

  1. The poet us invention Rama: See Ramayana [Karb (easy version, good for childen and youngsters; Ra (fair)]
  2. The insider Rama, a figure that embodies advancement internally, a good book is Yoga Vasishta. I particularly recommend the version published by State University. [Yv; Su]
  3. The historical Rama is missing.

Krishna in literature

  1. The fiction's Hare Krishna: Srimad Bhagavatam is my main reference used. [Sh] Also, the long epic Mahabharata depicts him. Alternatives: [Aha (likeable, easy version); Mmw (heavy, boring, but complete in 12 volumes); Wa (Bhagavad Gita)]
  2. The insiders' Hare Krishna, the herding, plotting expert: Bramble Farm Lessons contain insider material on it. As for the Krishnic movement of Bhaktivedanta, it is on Internet, it is classified as a dangerous cult in the USA, and I refrain from showing literature from it here. It's theory is mosty hearsay, to my knowledge. But the Indian scholar Bhaktivedanta's mere translation of the Bhagavad Gita is eminent. The mumbo-jumbo indoctrination is included as purports to many of the verses.
  3. A historical figure called Krishna is barely mentioned in non-historical canon, three Upanishads. Two of them border on repeating the other, as far as I know. [So].
Now, Drs. van Buitenen and Dimmitt links us to the old Indian myths and fiction on figures such as Rama and Krishna. They've inspected more than I have, including the "Harivamsa". [Cf. Chl]

Lots of eye-sight

All that exists in this world is beautiful. (American proverb).
Back to the Bramble Farm owners in question: Masters are purported to speak on top of interesting inside states and some of these states may reflect outwardly in handy ways as well. Babaji announces on the Net that he sees through all eyes. Let us feel into that a bit. What can it be like to see through the eyes of ten thousand swarms of insects? Each eye has many openings (facets), some circle around others, eat others and all that. The point is:
Who sees through all insect eyes the world over, has to be fed with lots of information that may bring a man backwards. Who cares what the frog sees?
Even Master Yogananda says somewhere: "Why look down into the sewers when there are loveliness all around us?"
In the sewers rats can gnaw and reign. The Indian Babaji is in them. He admits that. Better take heed. Who look in the sewers? Why on earth does Babaji pulse and see through his hordes of more or less stress-deranged rats and bats down there? Can't he turn his vision off?
      So be a man.

Was Babaji really looking at him while not in concert?

One day, walking with a friend, Fritz Kreisler passed a large fish shop where a fine catch of codfish with mouths open and eyes staring were arranged in a row. Kreisler suddenly stopped and looked at them. He clutched his friend by the arm and exclaimed:
"Heavens! That reminds me - I should be playing at a concert!" [From Of]

A little insider joke: He did not say: "Mystic Babaji looks at us through lots of cod eyes!" - Can you understand it?

Babaji and badger - what is the difference?

In 1996 a story of a British badger popped up in a TV newsprogram. The cute animal had entered a washing-machine on its own. The British house-wife did not notice it and started its inferno. It survived.
Was Babaji in those two, confused eyes at very high speed at times, also rocked to and fro in the waves, to and fro in foaming water? Why should he be?
Babaji looked at the world through those confused badger eyes.
It's often a great boon to be able to close your eyes.

Why should a mystic and Babaji be nice if Krishna is a sleek and fantastic killer from above? You do not know that, do you? I do not know it all - admit that.

If decor-stunted or swindled, you could degrade back if you mount up to it

Safety first - its a fit slogan. It's best to be on the safe side, is another. The culinary art of living is not had by trusting much, but by mastering much on one's own, basically as a free individiual. Let us hope that. With this in mind, let us divulge more.
Behind or inside the tenets of Babaji (AD 203-now) there seems to be notions that are a bit congruent to some of the French savant Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. He speaks of the noosphere - the spirited sort of "layer" on earth where we can find fit life forms to identify with. [Fem]
But a trouble with the idol is that he nowhere specifies much - not in the peacock's alignment tradition, where it is specifically made a point of such as: Babaji is ever in union with (now bodiless) Jesus Christ.
Only the witless one expects the blacksmith to wear a white silk apron. [Ap 54]
These two masters have thought out how to liberate mankind, according to the Indian master we call Peacock. We find this story in his Autobiography [Pa: index].
There is sound reason to refuse to believe Yogananda's outlook.
  1. As a religion-maker, he raided on top of the law or over it, by borrowed phrases that border on satanic intrigues, or narcissistic propaganda by infiltrative jargon.
  2. Recent offshoots or yoga groups that Babaji is a patron for, no longer have Jesus Christ as one of the Hindu masters - is Jesus Christ betrayed once again?
  3. Yogananda's unifying schemes or synergetic outlook hardly seems Biblical or well founded in the first place.
"Better a good dinner than a lousy meal that later causes grief and sorrows." We talk of food for thought by that sentence. We have evidence to back up this tenet: Followers of guru Peacock are outsmarted.
Even though Babaji's chosen emissary to the West, the peacock type we talk of, did stress the things he had been told to do, later offshoots from Babaji do not try to present Babaji and Jesus as well united, as team of co-gurus. Have they forgotten each other now?
Have the kriya gurus forgotten to honour Jesus just as much as before, after sunshine came their way at long last? How can that be? If you are deeply aligned, how can you abort it a few decades later, when the US public is tolerant enough to look into Hinduism as it may be on its own feet?
The soap opera is here to stay.
Nowadays there are many other churches or leages that spread Babaji's mystical kriya yoga.
One of the reasons why Oriental teachings look intriguing for beginners in the West, is that they never specify too well - what kind of Hare Krishna they consider they are deep inside, and so on downwards. Instead they fuse seemingly fact and fiction into one porridge to believe in as they say - it serves their marring goals, maybe. They operate in ways that often derange Western minds - or make use of the little developed critical faculties of naive, gullible ones. Is that so godly? We hardly know. Let us look further into it, thus. A very good briefing is had right here - there is none better, in my own experience.
From these and other TM stories it stands out: In the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's sort of "united science and Veda teachings", many have experienced murder, suicide, broken independence and severe mental problems you would not always hear about in the name of divine perfection and all that. - (#1.2)

The universal content

Long ago all living things were lost in one dreadful ocean that looked like a large egg. All creatures stem from it. Brahma was lying within this egg, and he went to sleep. After a thousand ages he woke up, broke open the golden egg, and after intricate opening-ups, an embryo shaped as a bubble, became solid. It's known as "that which supports" - another name for terra firma - the hard earth - the sustainer of beautiful creatures.
Brahma is called the grandfather of the world because of what he did deep inside the dreadful night. Lying inside the egg he can be aroused. ¤32, 36.
This ancient story is a tiny part of the Indian counterpart to how the world began in the first couple of chapters of Genesis. (#1.3)

Stunted into graveness

Grave comments could be abounding to each topics of the long giant-hailing repertory. Still, if good and pertinent humour is absent, do we advocate the right anti-fascist swing? (#1.4)

"Ducklings can come out of eggs only if some able duck lies on top," thinks Donald. "Is the universe duck-made, then? Could blunt reductionism lie at bottom of the man-formed egg tale? Who knows?"

The draug, have you met him?

HOW IS the fairy tale figure that Scandinavians call the draug? It's a spectre - like certain disembodied gurus at times. It appears right before impending death - and gurus help you go for that - The spectre rows a half-boat when it appears at sea. Now, if you interpret with me a little, the boat is a token of power, might or prowess.
It's also an ancient Egyptian symbol. The sun-god Re uses a boat on his way. That god is one of might - look at the sun and inspect a little - it can be "hairy" too. The Viking forefathers used to "bury" old earls in boats - let them slip at sea towards the sunset - but metaphorically. Chiefs were buried on board of some crafted vessels, and the boat represented their might - once again.
A half-boat signifies half-power. To be half a man is that. If your powers in life are dwindling into that shape, maybe you can't even marry well - there is that risk. If so, that old Norse forerunner of a guru-ghost comes to help you - or does it help at all? It may be debated, as figurative language leaves many openings for attack or discussions. What seems fair to suggest is that when a Hindu guru or fisher comes into your life, he has room for you - can it be like a modern draug? If so, it is hard to prove, like after-life itself.
If you will look at the first martyrs, they came in contact with genuine help from a warm-hearted, frank source of inner strength that really understood and could bring about plenty of favourable outcomes - so that they could accomplish great things, even greater things than Jesus himself [See John 14;12]. That is the God Christ or the Son of the gospel.

Marriage is a game best played by two winners (American proverb)
Somewhat opposed to that good godhead part we have Draculas that play well - they suck self-esteem by feigning a lot and going for the good things much for themselves. But the New Age Draugs culd be much worse - they could have learnt to tap you from inside, from deep recesses you hardly feel aware of. If the Draugs suck you from inside, maybe your life grows stale and yu get bored, or your good wife. If so, maybe no jolly Santa Claus bishop comes to the rescue from above.
You might like to know that long after the kind and helpful bishop Nicholas of Palmyra died, his relics were taken by able descendents of Norwegian pirates that once took over the better half of Italy, and that is how Santa Claus came about to take over half of the Christmas focus in the end. [See Norm]
There can be a difference between being filled with the joy of a genuine helper from above and a mocking godsend. The latter could operate in the darkness inside, where most men are unaware. There he could eat and drink your heart-nerves. But on the surface he could be a wise and sagacious godsend that brings lots of glee. We fear that is the case.
We find this fine point pinpointed in much Asiatic lore - not only by Jesus Christ, but inside Sufi tradition and inside the best Hindu sources. The apostles and future victims of fiends, were filled with the joy of Jesus - but they had the option to do the best they could. They could triumph thanks to God's gifts. [John 14;12 etc.]
Look to the fruits, asked Jesus. Look to his fruits - he insisted they encompassed being hated and persecuted "by all". But that stage is now long gone and has to be passed by most of us. You see, the fruits of "original Christianity" that the goading peacock stands for in his marring idea play, is not the Christianity that grew up due to the Holy Ghost and all the apostles that rose to the occasion or new situations at hand, and by that dwarfed major commands found in the Law. Even if Jesus had vouched for all of them. [Matthew 5;17-20]
These facts are so easily overlooked by inexperienced beginners, so let us repeat them in this way: The new deal that grew up from such as Peter's vision at Jaffa, and the common agreement in Acts 15 on what to do and what to dispense with from the Jewish herding, dispensed with much to be turned all right among us Gentile Christians.
It's amusing, but we find no Christians around Jesus, no Christianity either. He sought out followers, had a following, and the term "Christian" entered only after his death and resurrection. There was hardly any Christianity as we have it, in the days of Jesus, only its forerunning deal. The seed has been sown and had succumbed. The new plant could be allowed to grow after the seed had died, was his message in the matter. The kingdom of heaven is like that - organic like a growing tree. To go back to invented or "original Christianity as taught by Jesus Christ" has to be window dressing most often in the light of the gospel evidence. We find it fit to mention it.
Nearly all staunch Christians live out the opposite of clasping rigorous poverty, a way of life that must lead to hate in the and "by all", and ending up in a forerunner of the circus. In Bramble Garden they definitely use "original Christianity" as facade. That is not fair. That is not the way to behave, for it mars.
Life could be a quite unfair, sinister thing if you do not manage more and better in the deal for Gentile Christians [Cf. Acta 15]
Regrettably, the fisher we spike here, claim that his deal is the pact of Jesus Christ, not that of us Gentile or European followers who got the better deal. The deal of Jesus was aiming at Jewish fare all the way, it seems fair to say. He came to save his own people, associated very little outside it, in the gospels, and said it - for example to a Samarian woman. Below is a sample of what true following of Jesus implies:

Late-comers rooted in inexperience may flounder or even worse

LoOne thing that should not be overlooked by inexperienced beginners, is non-profit rooted, fair or very handy help for good beginners

Clever men go deeper than the surface, and often they remain on the surface as well, for the sake of common accommodations that count. But to insist foolhardy and superficially in dubious matters is not a way for us to behave. We have to know better than that. You might like to hear it from me.
A half-boat could imply to be half a man: Many old symbols, tokens and facts are easily overlooked by inexperienced beginners. They can be taken in for the lack of that knowledge some time. ¤
If you will look at the first martyrs, they were taken to the border of death and further, with no gurus to help them.

LoSome that have crossed dark, dim waters and foggy marshes, help others to do the same, Others drown later-comers and can be sleek

The seed has been sown and died is the "original Christianity as taught by Jesus Christ". It's a dead thing we talk about. But on top of it, the darning peacock guru could eat and drink your heart of goodwill. ¤
The sun-god uses a boat over dark, dim waters in lots of ancient Egyptian paintings. The picture can represent your sense of independence and self-assertion needs help in dim waters. It's not easy for a convert to deal with unseen powers that war against God. So the early church established such as overseers to help beginners. John (Gold-mouth) Chrystostom became a famous one.

LoSpeaking of the fruits of Jesus as a gardener, witticism helps

3RD SECTION IT HELPS to be in contact with a genuine helper and preserve your basic assets and bulwarked in many ways and "layers". A home is for that. Huge Norman mottes (fortified mounds) served it nicely earlier. Lately it has been made use of in a new key in urban settings to counteract traffic noise.
Look to the fruits of Jesus, the first Christianity that dispensed with his yes to the Law of Moses, and the deal of Calvin. The New Age Draugs could be much worse.
Feel free to take to witticism if it helps.

Christian homily along with this

Below: tick tack toe scheming

If you can't use the stepwise schemata (scheme) for building purposes, take to a yarn instead. To spin a yarn is to tell an exaggerated or untrue story. You can often choose that. Most fairy tales live on thanks to it. Make it entertaining, then.
  1. BE ON the safe side to cope well. It's not a goof side. It helps to cope well; helps to become an expert backed up by nice thought from others.
Otherwise - well, a lot good-natured people become victims and martyrs because they were once taken in - or parents of theirs. Some scars tend to remain, and nasty scripts tend to run in families till the spell-breaker appears and breaks the plots. [Cf. Hom]
  2. There is absolutely no reason to look down on any beginner, or being a beginner. But good-natured beginners have to be bulwarked and at times defended, or they risk being run down or cheated. In the first church they fought very hard for beginners and against perverted teachings and found it necessary to have grown-up helpers (elders, presbyters) and overseers (later bishops). St. John Chrystostom, bishop of Byzantium was one.
  3. TAKE TO the best deal and try to stay as relaxed in that as you can. It often helps. Bulge well - ponder what it means and try to apply it if you can or when you can. And at times there is no way out.

Sayings of Jesus against the killing experts around

"Do not call anyone on earth "father"" is dispensed with

FACE Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: "The Pharisees - do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. - Matthew 23:1,3
They tie up heavy loads 5
You have only one Master and you are all brothers. 8
And do not call anyone on earth "father". 9
Nor are you to be called "teacher," for you have one Teacher, the Christ. 10
The greatest among you will be your servant. 11
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, - hypocrites! - You make (your convert) twice as much a son of hell as you are. 15
"Woe to you, blind guides! You blind fools! You blind men! 16, 17, 19
Teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You have neglected the more important matters of the law - justice, mercy and faithfulness. You blind guides! 23, 24
"You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of - self-indulgence. 25
Blind Pharisee! On the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness. 26, 28
"You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? Therefore I am sending you prophets - and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others - pursue. 33, 34
And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth. 35
"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. 37

Sifting, comparing and finally getting backup that counts where you are

You may need some back-up. Here is some.

LoThe risk of faking may be lifted off through metaphoric ways

The content of well-nigh any term can be lifted by metaphor - i.e. abstract-making in itself - and can also become wider and wider, till we hardly understand it.
Very many proverbs help you to learn figurative expressions. They can assist colloquial-looking handling and good thinking. Yet there is a risk we could get stunted by faking inside many of them. Bible-translators can't fake that way. ¤

LoCunning metaphors place a lot work on the minds of receivers, such as interpretation and many aligned insights. Go for it -

Be greatly over-all-assisted by proverbs and at times famed, figurative or relevant enough terms and expressions. "Son of Old Nick" was likely to mean "one with a lot in common with Old Nick as understood", quite figuratively it is surmised. It's likewise with our modern "son of a gun".
All the nations of the earth will mourn - All these things (are to happen). Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. - Matthew 24;30,34-5
Inside that central quote we find lots of reasons to guess.
  • What about the Etruscans of former Etruria or other former nations? They no longer exist, but can be interpreted as included in "all the nations" if we do not limit the word of Jesus. They no longer exist, but are free to mourn. Are we free to limit the word of God now?
  • Where on earth are the words of Jesus to be found without any earth or heaven to find them contained inside? It must remain a mystery of mysteries.
  • He also said the Law was valid when it was dispensed with. - See Matthew 5;17-20, Acts 15 and the doings of Jesus against such as against Sabbath rest.

LoGood people do not mind - fiction is at times full of "old gold" - handly and clever suggestions - maybe in disguise. Moral lessons at the end of fables is just one sort of it

3RD SECTION Figures of speech have to give good insight in how to go for the most likely understanding in a lot cases and places. Very common mathematical or chemical formulas are quite like figurative terms because both may assist man from a symbolic field on top of common sense. Not everybody knows that.
The wise man lets himself be assisted by experts all along - also here. Are there any? Let there be an upsurge of those staunch individuals. If so, free to contact me where I am. ¤

Pacts

You may get the notion: "Alas. I'm not a very good Christian." However, If you were fine, you would not be a Christian in the first place.
FACE"Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners [Mark 2:17]."

"I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel." [Matt 15:24].
Find calm comfort in these thoughts, considering the marring things he "blurted out" about plucking out your eye and so on.
Not only sinners only, but Jewish sinners only is what he specified when he walked about - Hence, Samaritans in his days did not get much of him, no matter how receptive they were. But after Jewish leaders had him crucified, Jesus to let his net be cast over gentiles, no matter what he had said earlier. A whole new set of standards were set up for "gentile followers" The latter half of the New Testament is about that. Now you should escape much unneeded confusion by being allied to what counts.
  1. First there was the pact of Abraham or Moses. The sign of being favoured from above was plenty of women, concubines - and mammon. It's Aramaic for wealth, prosperity. Mammon was the true sign of the Lord's favour and blessing, the Old Testament repeatedly says. An old hag may do it too. Next came prophets, Saul, David and Salomo and sinned and thought. It's traditional to include them in the first deal. We do here. But there are deviations from the Law. For example, when David had got rid of Uriah by subterfuges and plots that bordered on killing, God let him get away with it, or so it seems - he let that fellow live, contrary to his commandments as handed over by Moses. Where is consequent, fair action to be found if not in Jehovah?
  2. The second deal was at hand: Jesus came and said the Law was valid, and yet he broke it and made others do it too. [Matthew 5;17-20] Luckily, that "original Christianity as taught by Jesus Christ" was dispensed with a little later [Acts 15 and Acts 21:25], for Jews didn't respond well enough to his call, and his words - or some of them - were meant only for them. So he signalled almost all his life.
  3. The third deal was supposed to be valid for Gentile Christians and kept. However, the tree of Christianity grew in many directions, despite gospel words of "love and unity" [Hio]
We could do well to side with a godly glow in an okay way to escape a thousand traps - or a million of them - in part set up by fishing dynasties under a great fishing expert and enemy.
      Tricky subjects need clever solution-makers.

Near the ending

Literal-mindedness is not bad, but St. Paul asks each of us to grow in grace and understand that it happens "the letter kills".
There are letter-writers and letter-writers. Some show skill and applomb, others can excel in candour. Often it is a good feat to combine these facets of the art. And at other times it is hardly possible. Thus:
"Let your conversation be always full of grace - know how to answer everyone." - See Colossians 4;6 (Excerpt).
An overseer is entrusted with God's work - must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught.
There are many rebellious people, mere deceivers. They must be silenced. - Titus 1;7-12 (Excerpts
If we deal with brutes like the Cretans in the same chapters, there is a risk the graceful conversation would be pearls cast for swine. Jesus is against that.
You can't always hope to handle criminals, liars and beasts in a fair way just by good conversation, many people found, and erected prisons. The former Wild West contains many of them - built by god-fearing Christians the were, or who is to thank if not?
What we find, is the Old Testament's "there is a time for [not] everything - " but in a new key, though. It was not meant there was a time for stealing and killing innocent, staunch men, and so on. It means that "there is a time for everything" can't really be taken literally anyway, even if it is written in the bible. Is there a time for bigamy, indignity and racism?
In the great dustbin desert around Salt Lake City, lots of settlers took to bigamy to keep the harem thought intact in the former century. Mormons took to underhand tricks to preserve their faith, but were run down - some imprisoned - by the government, as Christians found "there is not a time for everything" in this country. Let history prove it, if you have to assert the neat thing in the face of hoglike opposition. What has taken place, has taken place. That is the philosophy of it.
Where is the all-power of Jesus if many others are/is almighty too, along with lots of other fathers in Faroffstan?
If we never learn to mobilise healthy doubt for our own benefit, there is a risk of succumbing to given dreams. Huge things are normally given from the outside, where the Jewish "I'm" is not found. "The great potter resides in heaven, and God's heaven is inside you," is suggested in two different places. There is another, common interpretation in the latter case: "Heaven is among you". Now, this shows my case perfectly well: We often have to interpret and judge plausible options - And the culinary art of handling such matters well, also includes fit guidelines for what to do next, on top of that. We do nothing very bad if we flatly and blandly select the plausible opiton that suits us, not hard ones, and make constant use of it. It's much Christian, not unfair either.

Hare Krishna could be Dionysos - is that far out?

THE LATIN writer Ovid (43 BC - AD 17) writes in his Metamorphoses that the god Dionysos (later Bacchus) appears both with and without horns. Quote:
He has conquered the East as far as the land where swarthy India is watered by remote Ganges' stream" [Met 94; Compare also the third paragraph of book 4 here, if you like]

Now this gentle presence appears
without his own horns
in an orgy of gladness.

He describes the virile Bacchus cult in several places, such as this one:
Wherever you go, young men's voices are raised in cheering, and women's voices join in the chorus ... hollow cymbals clash to the sound of the ... flute's shrill pipe.
The Theban women offered up their prayer to Bacchus, saying: "May your gracious and gentle presence be with us now!" [Met 95]
The Danish writer Leo Hjortsoe takes us into the ritual ecstasy of Bacchus in a good book. The pre-Greek wine-god won adherents by his wine in the first rounds - He seems to be a glad giver, like Krishna, in a dreamlike, or a bit unreal peace, often worshipped by ecstatic dance.
That god that could have been Krishna before Indian narcissist poets grabbed him and overdid much; He was raised like an orphan, and in the end he gained heaven and earth - yet his kingdom was very much of this world.
The god himself shows up as coming from Mediterranean islands where vines were cultivated. He represents calm in the midst of anger, but not only that. [Gh 78-85]
What this amounts to, is to hint at some overlooked details for comparison, but there are further ones: The Indian idol Hare Krishna could have been a god from Crete, not where Gotham or India lies nowadays.

Ovid informs that the Dionysos cult reached India. In India lots of writers composed the books that became the only sources of the changeling: Bhagavan (Lord) Krishna.
      (a) The Bhagavad Gita [Wy; Wa] is merely a chapter in the very long and tiresome epic Mahabharata [Mmw]. The Mahabharata poem depicts the black giant as a terrible slayer, but first a changeling that makes much of seducing pretty milkmaids. In his trade he blows his flute and brings rapture - like Dionysos. Like him, the idol fights his way up (in your dreams).
(b)The fairy-tale-resounding tall stories of him are further found in what is called Srimat Bhagavatam [Sh]. It's a comprehensive book that hails god Vishnu in poetic verse, and one part of it is called "Uddhava Gita". Here Krishna finds the time fit to tell his follow-up to his other song-teaching, that is the other gita. The "Uddhava Gita" is the fuller one of these two, much unreckoned with in the West and East, and finally, hailed by a connoisseur like Aldous Huxley. [in Sl].
What is common for this Asiatic literature is verbosity, fondness of figures of speech, overgrown rhetorics and lots of rhetoric artistry.
A man had better be vigilant and go against getting hooked by a book figure and persons that say they are him much and often. (#1.5)

Belong to six (or three or four) and yet none - is that the teaching of the yoga giant?

YOGANANDA's monastic-steered Yoga-fellowship (SRF) binds Kriya members by their words to six gurus that include the very little verifiable Lord Krishna.
SRF maintains "we all belong to Hindu gurus in a line". But how Jesus looked down on having more than one master - himself - you find it in the Bible.
Well, Yogananda appeared to drop highly significant parts of the Bible's teachings after quoting from it. Beware of quite dubious conformity outside the pale of common sense, and in time.
One more question comes to mind: How many (soap opera) Krishnas can a man afford to venerate and not look pathetic?
In the Christian man's eye the hand-made idol king is always abominable deep inside.

Has found it out: "We can all belong to several Krishnas in dreamland, or what?"

Counter-demagogy

Ill often comes on the back of worse. - British proverb.

I've had to mask, cover and "wing-clip" some notorious axioms in the following, so as not to make wailing inmates out of his true (narrow) believers. Or perhaps to make fun of giants at a long distance. So it seems. I hope you enjoy the war-cries and counter-demagogy interspersed.

1 E: Genuine help comes often completely contrary to the sayings of Yogananda.

Life should be fun to you, says Yogananda. Sound ridicule is often gross fun. Let us poke fun. I try to obey the guru all the way. ¤Ak
This is good training - call it counter-demagogy and too obvious narcissistic propaganda to make someone wake up. You can do a lot of it: Look through this compilation by a rather secretive, but active Viking - yes! The adamant Sarque (nickname) is still among us. And his fatherly teachings still circulate among North Americans.
This essay develops insistent false teaching in "Christ and Krishna: Avatars of the One Truth". It's a chapter in one outré collection of big, imposing lies. ¤Ak.
False, posing guru statements can be camouflaged as religion. You can use that trick. Often big guys just lie too high up in the air for us small ones. If so, neither you nor I can ascertain or reject a bit. Then we can't say how relentless or useless the sayings can be unless on intrinsic grounds. Then we can check how much the infallible guru often teaches against himself in the previous sentences, and so on. We do have good means:
  • Argumentum ad hominem is good. It can check intrinsic flaws in premises and deductions, based on principles. This is immense help to puncture too arrogant Yogananda cavalcades - such teachings. I've spotted scores or hundreds of such inconsistencies already, and present a meagre selection here.
  • He claims to be one hundred per cent in consonance with the true, original Christianity of Jesus Christ - as if it could be detected by not good theologians on top of missing texts not found in the New Testament! ¤See Ak: "Aims and Ideals"
  • Yogananda also vouches for the scientific candour - "science" and "scientific" are "good, emotive signals" all along the way with him. With him and the sect after him, "scientific" is hardly a must, because narrowed interests often conflict with it - then he breeds pretences. Hypocrisy next. That is my statement, I'm bolstered up to document it at "any time". I have lots of interesting letters from the headquarters that neatly show a lot. (Ib.)
  • There are other inroads too. I have to make do with what has come within the range of my careful study.
  • I've shortened and tidied up a lot of the slogans below, often in a nutshell.
To agree with insensible top-dogs it probably helps to be completely tamed and whacko already as a child, I figure.
I suggest you drop good will and reflect as coldly as you can, to ensure you're not duped by a fox out to win disciples to rob. For much unfounded, hearsay-based faith can glitter by artful robbery of gullible hearts and souls - through laughable dogmas to begin with -
Each segment below can look true of false or both - depending on how you look at its parts - and maybe not.
But let us be more exact: Can over-all output that gives the genuine monkish teaching, be less than hybrid or irrelevant Christianity where you come from? Look up whether the parts below signify fundamental Christian teaching (that Jesus and his friends taught) where you come from, as well.
For further existential probing by my given keys, discern who can know what versions may be true if it can be found out first-hand and first-class. If not, maybe things can be ascertained somewhat by secondary matters, such as plain or central Gospel texts.
If you can't verify or reject this outré teaching, you still have to decide such as "Just what hearsay tale could be the preferable one where you come from?"
Discerning thoroughly and well in hard teaching matters very often requires more than a gang rattler.

    In defence of Mahavatar Babaji

Thousands of appeals for pardon came to Lincoln from soldiers involved in military discipline. Each appeal was as a rule supported by letters from influential people. One day a single sheet came before him, an appeal from a soldier without any supporting documents.
"What!" exclaimed the President, "has this man no friends?"
"No, sir, not one," said the adjutant.
"Then," said Lincoln, "I will be his friend." [Of]
The handsome juvenile-looking guru we find presented on Internet and in books by - eh - Bramble Garden, illustrates this:
    • Life is not a cup to be drained. [Ap 374]
    • An optimistic attitude is half of success. [Ap 31]
    • Nature abhors the old. [Ap 424]
    • One of the most startling differences between a cat and Babaji, is that the cat has only nine lives. [Cf. Ap 86]
    • He is dead that is faultless. [Ap 202]
    • Few rich men own their own property. [Ap 444]
    • The kind of advice we do not like to take, often turns out to be the best. [Ap 10]
    • Dirt is only matter in the wrong place. [Ap 151]

Liberated through nonsense or from it?

THE SECTION of Yogananda quotations and paraphrases is now placed here: Check To trust foreigners who carry holy gifts - who come and say they're Krishnas and saviours, learn to evaluate the particular fruits of it before you run into trouble. An Indian wanted to strip naked an attractive woman with five husbands. Krishna swore to revenge it. But he was present and could have tried to stop the stripping. Lesson: Do not shoot sparrows with atomic bombs.
What do we need enemies for if we have bloody friends of format?" Try to be patient with me where I seem enigmatic or cryptic at times - there is much to fear and much to handle. As Christ says: By their deeds you shall know them. Know the tree by its fruits if you do not understand its roots and over-all shape, leaves and all. You can compare deeds. A good survey in advance can save a hundred thousand embarrassments - maybe or maybe not.
When an old frog comes along and croaks "essential unity", must we listen all night long to it? "Cock-a-doodle-doo - I'm the next Krishna or avatar - or New (Age) Christ, come to me, and so on." To say, "I'm hungry for money, power and esteem - the things the West can buy", is out of the question. But it could be what counts. The ability to see for himself can be developed by good education and training too. Go for that. In the gospel of John Jesus says somewhere that only he who came down from heaven can get up there again. An interesting sideview - or? "None has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven, the Son of Man. The Son of Man must be lifted up". - [Cf. John 3:13-4]
Lifting up the son of man (called barnasha in Aramaic). Barnasha can have many meanings. One is "habit-living man". The son of God that Jesus talks of, looks like a god in his "Do not you know you are gods?"
It must be good to be informed that if you were not pre-selected or God-singled for anything in particular, Jesus says that you are a god, and as a god you're a god in The Image. Is anything bigger or better than that? A very successful god, maybe. Jews surely "blew it".
So the need to calm down a lot seems formidable. You may sound Christian without being recognised by Jesus who says he wants aligned doings too - it is to be reckoned with. Blood food eaters can be those who eat hamburgers with added blood proteins, black puddings, certain 'sausages' or Brat, and so on. The (trick) question is: "How is it that there are very many that were not reminded against eating blood food all their childhood after baptism?" The fellowship and church the guru set up, teaches that by advanced and progressive clever gasping, a teacher can stay alive - and be handy for long. "The world is nothing more than a cosmic dream — This life is a dream." [Ak 237, 240]

If the world's a dream, at least it is spaceous.
So let your life be no hopeless dream. Get away from the teaching that the universe is illusory, for if it were, that teaching would be found inside that illusion, take part of its inherent nature of being unfounded - and there you have it.
It's very good if things come down to something that looks normal enough, grossly stated.

"The Holy Ghost is energy" - maybe the Holy Ghost dislikes Yoganandic reductionism as it is here brought out in the open.

Find it difficult to imagine you're one with Krishna in any original Christian spirit or gospel Christ.

Yogananda called his guru fathers almighty and all-knowing - one of them "a master in every way". [Ak 99] - misleading Yogananda.

    Mohammed Ali's "I'm the greatest"

Indian mythology is complex. One reason is that various gods intermingle and pop up and call themselves the greatest, one by one. Max Müller coined a word that signals that if the god in question is a funnel into the one divine sea of godhood, each may have a right to call himself the greatest.
It's not like Mohammed Ali, formerly Cassius Clay. He as a self-made "I'm the greatest!" in the ring in his day. He was a boxer. This may remind us of the saying:
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words never will." Implied is:
"Cassius Clay may break my bones to go for the greatest, but lips will hardly do the trick." (#2.1)

    DAO SEARCH

    On what life is

Lo"Boxes within boxes" have to be linked to thoughts of gods and goddesses that are much brutal, inside Hindu artistry

PROFESSORS Cornelia Dimmitt and J.A.B. van Buitenen have edited and translated many significant myths from the best Hindu sources I know of. The two of them deal with such intriguing topics as "Krishna" and "Vishnu".
Gods may come in pairs, males and females - and in numbers. Some are born as human beings, mate and all that. There are classes of them. Some female goddesses may be like "boxes inside boxes". Hindustan was a class-ridden society. ¤Clh 11.
It's not easy to determine who edited these old stories into collections in the first place. Life is the battleground - invisible forces or gods may intervene or wage wars here - by dummies, even. The winners take control. There is nothing as good as winning, is the ultimate standard to discern. ¤5.
What often happened was that a sort of common fund of useful, entertaining and instructive stories were molested to serve as sectarian vehicles. Some Puranas hail this god, others hail other gods or gods made kings - or the other way round. That is how they are. ¤See 8. 5.
These old, voluminous books are told in question and answer form in an easy metre most often. ¤5. (2)
These things are hard to decide: When and where these rustic tales were formed in the first place. The oldest material in the Puranas is contemporaneous with the Vedas - but mostly it spans the period from 300 to 1000 AD and document the triumph of Hinduism in India by brutal enough gods in that evolving pantheon. ¤3-5.
Some of the frustratingly incomplete Puranic material could have been collected and edited about 1000 BC, and some about the fourth to sixth centuries AD, during the Gupt a Dynasty. ¤6.

LoLet eminent men assess and serve you by that. Otherwise you could waste terribly much time, effort and opportunity

WE RECOMMEND Dr. Klaus Klostermaier's survey of Hinduism. [Suh] He gives a palatable "skeleton of conceptual pegs" to link up with. In part he gives us something to rule very many folktale-like stories by. Then we see things in connection with others - far better than without such professonal help, is the bet. For the lack of meta-cognition (surveys from above), the jungle of fragmented stories can be very hard to tackle.
Very remarkable, old stories within the Hindu tradition were rewritten and molested over a long period of time, according to the desires inside successive waves of development in the Hindu mainstream tradition. So it seems. ¤6.
What is more, some stories were to be told by bards in the old days, and very ancient oral traditions of story-telling abounded alongside the literary tradition, it is held. ¤6-7.
These things granted at once, Hindu mythology is so vast and complex and difficult to understand that it has become almost a closed world to the non-specialist, the authors assess. ¤xi.
In the Puranas we find good stories with a tail of indoctrination to them very often; we find reminiscences of popular idol beliefs, and the very many, somewhat assorted values people clinged to in the old days. The tone is lyrical for most part, no matter how much slaying and maiming that goes on. It's a desensitising trick, for most part. Vishnu is one of the most popular deities of Puranic mythology. We'll talk of him later. ¤59.
The Puranic world-picture teems with invisible levels under and over the earth-plane. What happens on the other side, is an on-going battle that includes combat with demons. It's evident that clanlike loyalty is very important, like keeping one's word. ¤9.
As a little curiosity, 18 Puranas have been singled out as Great Puranas in some Indian way; the result is a list of twenty. The art of confusing is no different. ¤4.

LoStories that speak to man deep inside or otherwise keep people's attention, may form lore and not only that: religion

3RD SECTION THE TALL Sanskrit tales that are called Purnanas, are in part like fairy-tales of Norway - they share some common features - but this granted, there are no exact parallel to the Puranas in Western literature. Much Purana material can be nauseating or repetitive and odd, with a good deal of borrowing and conflation. These books also drop historical evidence for most part. This gives us very tricky matter. ¤See 3. 12-3.
Such stories form the foundation of Hindu religion even today. ¤13. (7) (#2.1)
Gods may come in pairs to be made airy kings -
That is how many are in Guruland. You can do better.

It's no real asset to stand up as an airy king if none listens. Such stories form part of the foundation of today's Hindu religion.
Then you have to tell much better.

Very deceptive Vishnu, the possible giant up there "in the skies"

GOD BRAHMNA is regarded as the agent of creation; Shiva of destruction, and Vishnu is held to be the preserver of the created world.
He's believed to be all-pervading fog - sort of - at least he's foggy as compared to the limpid Shiva over and above it - box within box over again, remember. The most valuable is most inside, as a rule of the thumb. And what is more inside, is more encompassing, according to this very Tantric view. ¤Tåg.
Vishnu can be understood to mean "pervader". He's also reckoned with as "he whose abode is the waters [deep inside]". Most common of all names for Vishnu is Hari, but the origin of Hari is not clear. ¤Clh 60.
Vishnu is known by a variety of names and describing words. It may refer to a yellow garb; taking away of evil; and is at times tied in with Shiva. In that case the meaning is that Vishnu is Shiva. This identity trick is much easier if you recall "box within box". If holds: All Vishnu fog stems from and is Shiva water deep inside. ¤60.
These are metaphors. Airy facets of consciousness and existence and bullying have to have descriptions that suit their non-physical wavelength, so to speak. That is much to understand.
Further, along the old metaphoric lines,
  • Vishnu has four distinctive weapons, one in each of his four hands: mace, conch, lotus and a discus. The latter can be interpreted as a horoscope. I do.
  • His heaven, or residing level (area), floats in the sky above the seven heavens deep inside.
  • His body figure has certain marks of identity, including a whorl of hair on the chest.
  • He glides on a giant vulture - the vessel represents his animal passion - such power or prowess in general. The vast bird can be cosmos - it is called Garuda. Most often it is a vulture, but Dimmitt and van Buitenen let it be an eagle. I do not mind. He rides through space. The giant cosmos does that.
  • Vishnu is also (a) "endless" and (b) "remainder". These are difficult concepts.
  • Being endless means being a cosmic snake: it is the cosmic endlessness here. Vishnu is a snake - said to be immortal, undying.
  • He can remain, coiled up, in the ocean of milk inside somewhere. That is what they say, and Dimmitt and van Buitenen recounts it fairly well. ¤61.
  • His mate is Lakshmi, also called Sri - it stands for prosperity, which can be fair. Let me assume the spouse in general represents the god's organic livelihood. This female prowess is pretty, loves to rest on Vishnu's chest, and stands for low-levelled bliss, I guess.
The most constructive view of our box Vishnu lies in this: Each one of us can have him inside, near our inmost being. If he's understood as a symbolic item, it is not too hard. Nothing is too hard for the true follower of Christ who recalls very well:

All is possible with God - or one who believes. You're gods. Who believes in Christ, shall do even greater works [than marrying avatars]. ¤- See Mark 9:23, 10:27; John 10:34; 14:12. (#2.5)

    Deep avatar stuff

AVATAR stuff may be built on top of both our good, bearlike sayings (they can be marked GB expressions or similar, so candid and frisk are they) and Daya Mata’s wisdom in the book Only Love [On]. It's mostly a book of religious platitudes. She's at present president of the league we camouflage as Bramble Farm to sound nice enough, ever more all-inclusive for the time being.
As for Shyama Lahiri, after he had been helped 'senseless' in one way or other and without beer - he declared "I'm Krishna" - and Krishna in the Gita says such as "I'm the fable moster Makara - and death - and fraud (etc.)".
Now, let Norway's intervening clique expert Max Sacre inform better than any "Holy Mom of Compassion" - though with unused breasts - eh - from the Salt Lake basin. Our man talks with warmth of wild trolls in the bushes, hopeless misfits under monsters and their cool un-Norse yoga. He delves into how to get out of smart fish-traps before things get all hopeless, a one-way street of broken hopes. He may seem to be a poet, or an artist. Who knows? (#3.1)

    Old tales

The Puranic world picture is that the earth, Bhurloka, is the level of existence where humankind lives at the centre of a cosmic egg.
The holy mountain Meru rises in the centre as well. It's wider at its top than at its base. There is no mountain that is like that - but Meru is "the calyx of the lotus flower that is this world", the old story goes. What is more, "Vishnu's navel-lotus here becomes the earth itself, Mt. Meru its central seed-cup, and the surround lands its petals." ¤Clh 27.
The Hindu trinity consists of Shiva, destroying agent and so on; Vishnu (fertiliser); and Brahma (originator, or emblematic expert). Brahma is the counterpart to the Christian concept of a creator-god, but much is different. One, he has to be drunk to manifest a world. Two, his origin is from the lotus in Vishnu's navel. ¤Clh 30.
These are pictorial ways of presenting invisible things most often. They're much figurative modems. The idea at bottom in the very famed myth that interlinks the Hindu trinity, is that Shiva is boss behind all, Vishnu is deep confusion or ignorance that blinds itself in some tall way; getting out of Shivahood; and Brahma comes out of Vishnu-confused deep mind ever so often. Here I think "Box within box within box" - this concept can help us. There are other significant stories that defy this myth's opinion, though. (#3.1)

How many Christian Krishna avatars do we have to have to feel well?

I do not want to talk down on a peacock guru from far away, only to improve a lot in the everyday, admits Max Sacre.

Who's Krishna enough up there? The Krishna malady's representation figure, perhaps.
Shyama Lahiri intimated that Babaji was Krishna one way or another. According to recently surfaced yogi lore in the matter, great Babaji was born Nagaraj and later took on the name Babaji, revered daddy-o. If he was the reborn Hare Krishna as well, it is just as hard to gainsay as prove these days, is not it? Maybe you'll never know. Now, if Superman had been given to the Indian, ceremonial-collective imagination for some centuries, I guess the world would have heard of Indian Superman avatars also. And Superman ceremonials in a short time - if only inexperienced young Americans and other gullible people would wag their tail for that, with some Indian godman-narcissist on top to bray, it is to be philosophised. To grow on in candid ways on top of what you were to become, is much.
And then Babaji has said he's Krishna, but not only Krishna. He's himself also - with the perhaps overlooked identity of a kidnapped Tamilian born in AD 203 and still going strong, if you like to think that. That faith has to be fixed among modern Babaji-believers. The are lots of such guys. Some may not appear very odd or old at all. I've met directors in high finance that pray to "good master Babaji", that seeing eye, to name a few.
It stands out that SRF has two or three Hare Krishnas to venerate: Krishna; Krishna and Krishna. Or: (1) Krishna Babaji; (2) Krishna "in the skies" and (3) Krishna the Bear. Maybe also (4) unlaunched Krishnas like the avatar-to-come, Kalki? These gods do not lie on their bellies ... These things obviously have to do with marketing and lack of it. Other who call themselves krishnas seem missing on the SRF altars the world over; a universality-maiming partiality could be the defect here.
What is more, the third Krishna inside the world-wide SRF was not there in the start. The idol photo and regular, instigated Krishna worship inside SRF was added later. How come? Was not he good enough for it at first in the USA? Or was Master Peacock too occupied with intrigues to let his sort of Hinduism stand out against the stream back then? I smell something rotten. False play is that.
At the start there were the four India-born gurus around Jesus Christ. So many farm animals (disciples in the society) in the old days did not have to pledge unconditional devotion to the traditional, poet-instilled Krishna; they could still get Kriya. Let us hope that.
Guru followers in the Garden have been victims of plotting - in part in the name of Jesus Christ, in part in the name of science - the cherished mottos of the United States, all in all. Find them reflected in the SRF's aims and ideals to suck esteem or acceptance by empty-handed slogans.
What is more - on Internet the brave Shyama Lahiri (1828-95) claims he can also be Kali - and that woman is the destroyer of man and universe. (Cf. No.77.) What is he then? Is he himself too? Is not that far better, all in all?

Murderers can confuse old victims by old tricks that make silly and bring ruin. (#3.1)

    Tacticians

Brave heart: Who play it as tacticians are just holy after that
The novel M5 study is hereby shown. What is presented might be a plot, and done in a way that you could grin over at first meeting - a lot depends on you here. And we may bear in mind that an M5 is not a tick tack toe study, but a masked and blurred such one. That is what you get.

A    Hare Krishna altar worship is hardly set up in real Christianity, but in Bramble Garden it is found

"Plenty of false play is what someone like me prefers," said the fox (or coyote). He was given up to much collective imagination in folk tales. "Mark my words, there is room for more, gentlemen. Here we go:
Even if Yogananda in his autobiography said Babaji was ever in union with Christ Jesus and had planned salvation of the world with him [Pa] there are lots of bits of this jig-saw puzzle that hardly fits in anyhow. We have to talk major bits, central parts and fit canon.
At the start four Indian gurus were launched as gurus around Jesus Christ - they "had to" be the wise men of the gospel [See Ak] - reborn and all that, according to Master Peacock, who is revered as an avatar in these days, as alternative religion has swollen on and on. Of Babaji it has been said he's Krishna. We're to expect a kind of Superman ceremonials from the teachings that gurus purport to help us by - and in a short time. It often happens.
Inside the garden of brambles we're faced with Christian Krishna avatars. Now, can a Christian have Hindu gurus that call themselves avatars also? Must he be put to rigorous idol-worship to fit in - a bit lenient in the first decades? - You see the Farm in the first decades omitted Hare Krishna altar worship.
Was the tenet-harassing avatar Peacock occupied with giant intrigues to get into the mainstream of American beliefs or mottoes back in the 30s and 40s in the USA? The are lots of such guys ... I bet you never know who play it as tacticians, and who are just - eh - cultural in a less off-hand way.
Who's literature's Krishna without freak imagination? Shyama Lahiri said he was Krishna, and that the Old Father, meaning Babaji, was Krishna. These appointments seem esoteric. And esoteric mentions hardly mean what they say - it is surprisingly often just that way.
Now, I've met directors in high finance that pray to "good master Babaji", that seeing eye, to name a few. That faith has to be fixed much and well to survive against competitors on that peculiar market - the faith business of the USA is a great market. And many people may get into it just to help us, let us grant. ¤
Although many SRF members of the old days did not have to worship Krishna, they got Kriya and by that entered Elysium, it is held. Kriya-Elysium is had by nearly dying, and you can't be afraid to go on and on this way - and for the record: clever kriya gasping is not exactly like choking oneself. Some of those who take it up, may not appear very odd or old at all. These things obviously have to do with well accomplished marketing in the biggest sense of that word.
And now comes the sad part of the clarifying tale: There is a sport going on in some circles: Murderers can confuse victims by smooth talk. Some may not appear very odd or old at all. These things obviously have to do with marketing of items.

B    There may be ways out of many a pucker, and it may lie dormant or masked by figurative ways in works that speak to the community's collective imagination

"PLENTY OF false play is what someone like me prefers in these believe-me waters," said the quick Baloo. He turned into a giant fisher a bit later. He learnt some of those tricks under the snowy mountains.
"If you're horrible deep inside, you can take lots of these hints or suggestions to heart, and learn to bluff a lot on your own, just to stand up as Easter morning avatar - whatever. Superman was given only to ceremonial-collective imagination, whereas the raw Danish frog avatar, the sharkadeva avatar, the quick-witted giant weasel guru and mystical freshwater avatar would seem missing on the SRF altars the world over unless and until some more clipped idol photos and worshipped idols are added later. Mark my words, there is room for more, if only we proceed carefully, on and on. I think so."
When the whisky is in, the wit is out. Do not laugh at all the gurus that say they mean to help you. ¤¤ (M5 #3.1)

    About cunning avatars

THE INDIAN God Vishnu's avatars are "descents", often called "incarnations". They're descents or emanations of a part of that "god-box" into some animal or human form - allegedly supporting the forces of good. ¤Clh 61.
Vishnus can at times be interpreted symbolically. There is internal evidence in other Hindu scriptures that such practice has been wide-spread and still goes on, more or less. For example, the very old and long book Yoga Vasistha [Su; Yv] is a Hindu work that present the Indian epic Ramayana [Ra] as the outer coat of an inner quest that is told of in the other book.
What is more, Rama is thought of as an incarnation of Vishnu (he too). Who's next? It could be an overlooked fisher-boy from Nordland - a part of Norway.
Do not believe holy avatar shit unless it is to your own benefit. We have to discern between and mingle handsome short-range benefits, middle-range benefits and long-range benefits to win the day on an all-round plan. Why not? If we do not assert our deep sides, their needs and so on, and do it regularly, according to plan, others may take advantage of us. Bullies make us dwarfs. Some come in sheep's clothing and say they're holy avatars. I do not say all avatars are fishermen and rowdies, and note that well.
Because of too much modesty from our side the bad avatars may set the stage, and later exploit you. It's often that way; there is that risk. To lessen it, why not refuse to listen to the guru-given version - I mean the one that serves the topdog side all along? It could be a good thing. You will see that avatar weasel lived that counsel very well. He's presented by the peacock avatar as an all right family man in Banaras, India, where he was staying in a tiny room in a rather small house, according to someone who visited the place and describes it somewhere. ¤On kkk.
A great lad can come out of a little house. - Norwegian proverb. Let us face it: US President Abraham Lincoln did it too, and loved a good story, like Mark Twain.
Avatar Baloo's outré statements on Internet present him as a delver who assents to descriptions of topdogs in Hindu lore, but with himself in the topdog place: "I'm Krishna." This is the way of the Yoga Vasistha to a great extent. [Yv]
Seeing this, why wait for another fisher? You know, they say the world is designed for the ruthless on top. You have to be a bit bold to think differently than conformed ones. As the saying goes: "Where everyone thinks alike, none thinks well".
How good is the world in front of us? How good can it be? Can the lion stop killing all year long out of goodness? In the realms of nature only the hard and fearful animals lives on - in the "supply chains" in nature the gentle animals has no top position. Yet there is also survival based on other sorts of fitness in the ecological balance. The worst on top, the others live in fear unless they shoot - it is often like that.
Man as a collective organism is the most ruthless inhabitant on earth. It goes without saying. Note the link: the higher up they come, the more ruthless they tend to be, in over-all action. This stern outlook ties in with one of Laozi in Dao De Jing. You may not like it, for he says:
The sage is unkind; he treats the people like sacrificial straw-dogs. - Dao De Jing, Ch. 5.
The higher up the get, the more unfriendly. The more in charge, the less fun and frivolity, also. Let us note that, shall we? In commerce and banking it can happen too. If you aspire to get higher than man, you have to be more ruthless to make it. Yes, the evolutionary look into banking and Laozi can have a lot in common.
Next, think of how many miserable people and animals you have to take into your mind if you expand it - misery on misery. To be aware of all the cosmos is to be aware of all the sufferings of mankind - maybe of the future right now too.
If you do not get tough, nearly insane or ruthless, how can you bear enlarging your mind and its concerns? What actually happens on the "evolutionary ladder" is that the animals care for less and less the higher they get - fewer cubs they get, not millions each spring. The more evolved, the fewer cubs to be in charge for.
What does the guru or topdog avatar do? Is he playing a notorious TA Game in caring for a million? Is he evolutionary sick, misled or a trickster, a sly deceiver?
Look to the great lines in nature, in world philosophy, mingle well, and see what you come up with.
Maybe there is a loving and godly avatar here and there. Maybe his loving followers have been tricked by lore-described rules of the book.
It's hard to tell, and I wonder if general rules may apply to individual assets, for the higher they get, the more individual they have to become -this is the Jungian outlook. This is to say that in a yoga clique or guru family there can be good guys, bad guys, rotten guys and much else.
A descent of divinity can be due to a fall into animal form - it is held to be a harsh punishment in Manu Samhita [Mux], the Institutes of Vishnu [Viom] and other sources, I should tell.
This granted, the avatar is getting punished. The highest and best animals drop love for others than their own kind - beings of their own, genuine level. If you consider the bartering facets of regular interactions - the gives and takes - this ultimately makes lot of sense for the one who looks at the exchanges of life in the give-and-take lane. If you focus your love on a rat - worships it regularly as divine - it is still a lower life-form. What do you get back on a biologically okay level from the rat you feed like an idol? You're likely to get less back than you put it. In the long run such natural imbalances may take your life. What then? It's hard to say, but it is established thing to do is to keep your assets out of love for God deep inside.

"Love also yourself" could be the overlooked Christ-command here. - See Mark 2:31.
Man has been crowned with honour and glory. - See Hebrews 2:6-8.
Useless gods insult the Lord. - Deuteronomy 31:6.
So choose a good life. - See Deuteronomy 30:15-19.
Before you today is life and prosperity: Never forget to "command God" to walk in your all right ways, this is much of what judo visualisation and affirmative prowess is about, deep inside. It may assist the way you live. Athletes try to use other facets of it in "psyching" themselves for better outputs. Yes, do greater works than wail and sob in the Garden (See Mark 14:31-41) - you can do it and go for better living on an all-round plan. - [Cf. John 14:12]
What is more, if you get punished for a low-graded birth beneath your level, you're not a real giver where you come, I take it. Behind the facade the avatar may be the true scum of the earth - it can happen. Let us look into Krishna - one Vishnu-avatars - and see how he manipulated so that a "World War" was brought on in his day. He concluded his actions - that spoke louder than words, by letting all his descendants get drowned. This is described in Srimad Bhagavatam and the Mahabharata. Dimmit and van Buitenen also gives a survey. ¤Clh.
Seeing is believing. Do not let the idol steer your belief to your own outré ruin in the end. (#3.2)

    Kingly, kingly

You can reflect on this. Here comes one more Mama mia study, or an M5 text.

    Lo

The lucky dog cried out in the dark street somewhere,
"Dog as a collective organism is not the most ruthless inhabitant on earth. Man his master is. His figured manifestations, emanations or descents of this and that are called holy - or holy incarnations. Now, "avatar" is just a term that flatters, whereas your own skin is indispensable. Note the difference and gear up your reverence for your own skin accordingly, to be fair in these matters we're in."
A stray sloth bear passed by, paused to listen better, and then broke in,
"Maybe some ruthless man-avatars lead you into regular worship of alien gods or idols in order to "save you" from God. An interesting thought ... Still, seeing is believing.
There can be other avatars than those of god Vishnu: avatars of god Shiva from Dravidian districts are many in the canonical literature with its main-seats in Sourth Indian, more or less. Avatars of Shiva-men abound in South Indian source books, including Siva Purana. [Si, index].
The adored man we call Yogananda could make it without being given an avatar title back home. It was never his guru fathers that bestowed such an interesting label on him - the best he got form their side was "highest swan". It took many Americans to give the high, public esteem of "avatar" much later. These games are interesting."
The revelatory sheep expected an attack, but could not refrain from a good point on its own in the dark alley,
"Dear fellows, in a yoga clique or guru family there can be good guys, bad guys, rotten guys and much else. Over and above any of them or what they say, are good standards of locally applicable living, most often:
"I'm holier than thou" - that attitude is fit for the one that is to become an avatar, or for setting oneself up as one. Yogananda did it in the United States in this century. He was careful for that. You could do the same. So should we, dear friends, to make humans look up to us, like holy cows. Then we could be in for better days - maybe not all of us, but anyway.
Further, we have to inject the hovering belief in (a) whole sheep avatars and (b) partial sheep avatars, that is complete descents and partial ones. Further, we have to make humans see that regular worship of holy sheep, holy sheep-dogs or holy animals, give humans a good fare. Let them believe it.
Choose a good life. - See Deuteronomy 30:15-19.
In Northern India, God Vishnu is said to descend into bodies of men and animals. But few plot that getting to a frog or becoming one is great. Becoming an avatar in the Vishnu meaning of the plot, is becoming a lowered being. Would you like to become a frog to be esteemed? By frogs, not fellow beings?"
The sheep went on, he was in the revelation mood in the dark alley,
"The Indian avatar Rama is thought of as a whole, complete incarnation of Vishnu (he too). Who's next? Is it the complete female avatar Guri at last? Is it the elephant avatar? The African elephant could be likely to be a threatened species much sooner than we like to think, unless the great elephant avatar comes along, eh?
Many intriguing avatar constructs mingle and glide into one another - Yogananda is called an "incarnation of divine love (prem). His immediate guru is called "incarnation of (divine) wisdom", that is, gyana. Shyama Lahiri that in part initiated both of them, is revered as "incarnation of yoga".
Some gurus delight in the concept parade that could remind one of "Drink of the cup till it is full," without bothering about discretion. One may observe that they try to be discreet unless the hailed friend is dead, far away in a remote region, and one may also see that a counterpart to the Catholic Church canonisation procedures is hardly found. No "devil's advocate" may be found, none to rally against fictitious devotional ardour that seeks vicarious grandeur, for example.
These things are as they are. We have little to gain from going into big boasts by way of soap-opera reminding titles. What could be important is what is inside the man and the flock that carries his esteem on. Others that try to be greeted or reckoned with as "great king of Europe" or better, may be in for hard times, if not exactly the funny farm. As a matter of fact, we have met such a one. He had been influenced by guru "title fervour" among much else, and wanted to be reckoned with! In other words, he found it fit to compete on those very wavelengths. As yet it seems to be of no avail.
The question is how far we let ourselves be tricked by being duped by terms that spell big boasts in other mouths than those of Hindus. And by secret voodoo, or magic. Norse god Tor fell victim to the latter sort in a funny story. Trickery was behind. [See Ng, "Tors ferd til Utgard"]
The sheep halted. A man came along on a bicycle and understood the language of animals, he too. The bear bit him like an animal with rabies Yes, into the man on his bike the brave Baloo injected more or less from behind,
"Wicked man as a collective organism is the most ruthless inhabita
