I have never let my schooling interfere with my education. [Mark Twain]

Many a man never fails because he never tries to give another a fish and feed him for a day, and then go on to teach him how to fish and make him feed on fishing in your waters for a whole lifetime, and his relatives and theirs - on this planet of fastly dwindling resources. Better check sustainability too, and in time. [Cf. Norman Macewan and Lao Tzu]

Many great spirits have encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. [With Albert Einstein]

The benefits of education and of useful knowledge, generally diffused through a community, are essential to the preservation of a free government. [Sam Houston]

Some Words

Try to get the best out of solid technology, and to attain control enough in what counts as well. If you manage all of that in likable manner, you may have attained very much.

In the affairs of the heart, however, not a few who strive for control may use plots to combat the fine deeds and effects of others, and it may come to the fore only much later in life.

It may feel like a mild "punishment" to get aware of what counts, because "society" - bureaucracy, the taxes-demanding state, mercantile interests and large concerns - exploits naivity, good hearts and families for profit and other ends. Find out where the money flows - into whose arms also. There prestige and much that is also attracted tend to accumulate.

If you learn to dive within and favour yourself thereby, trust a lot in the "technology" of making such regular self-help efforts.

Further Words

Difficulties hardly pay. - TK

The saddest dog sometimes wags its tail. (American)
