Invitation

I have made an all-round non-toxic, non-poisonous remedy against colds and flu and would like to have it really well tested. The standardised remedy is non-toxic and safe.

Benjamin Frankin (1706-90) suffered from arthritis. From a portrait

No question about effects in a bacteria study

In a series of three studies, radionics-devised remedies were shown to have a consistent, dramatic effect on bacteria in ordinary tap water. There were 16 times more of them, that is. Samples were measured by a public servant, a town vet.
Also, in another study 86 percent of chronic gout cases reported by way of questionaires that they had become better or well. Regrettably, no control group could be had.
In this study it showed up that initial belief and disbelief in this kind of therapy had nothing to do with what later took place as reported. Those with a neutral attitude reported betterment a little more than the others - those who had faith and those who had not at the onset.
Moreover, "homeopathic worsening" was negligible, according to the questionaires answers. But how representative these findings are for homeopathy in general, I cannot tell.

Potentised Preparations: Explanations

In search of truth, not in being one-sided.
Homeopathy is a 200-years old system of therapeutics. Practitioners of homeopathy belong to complementary medicine and are concerned with earning a living from serving others with a declared aim of maintaining their clients' health and prevent, alleviate, or cure some diseases. Most practitioners world-wide are medical doctors.
There is some scientific evidence that at least some homeopathic preparations work. See Dana Ullman, Scientific Evidence for Homeopathic Medicine. 1996. (Excerpted from The Consumer's Guide to Homeopathy, Published by Tarcher/Putnam). [Link] But again, the bulk of research does not confirm that homeopathy works. [Wikipedia, sv. "homeopathy".] That is the lay of the land in gross outline. Under such conditions it may do good to make a few points clear:
  1. Some studies that have been made indicate that homeopathy works, but such studies are rare.
  2. That research in general has been unable to verify that homeopathy works, does not mean that all forms of homeopathy do not work, or that homeopathy is useless. For much depends on the choice of remedies and the skills of the therapist, for example: Their choices and skills vary. This is to point out that all the possibilities of homeopathy have not been tried out yet, and there needs to be "mental room" for more information.
  3. Some cures appear to work at times, even though we do not yet have any substantial explanations of how, or details that matter.
  4. It may be all right to "try and see", after all, provided it is not expensive and jeopardises health. If so, there may be no harm in it . . .
I do not wish to persuade anyone in the matter. What motivates me is to expose certain facts as an aid to reflections. If the gathered material and assertions seem convincing, remember to ask for OK ducumentations. And if something here seems wrong, be kind to tell me about it.

Homeopathy is Popular

Homeopathic treatment was presented to the world in 1796 by Samuel Hahnemann, a German physician. Later, many medical doctors came to specialise in what is now a 200 year old treatment system.
Homeopathy is practised in 41 out of 42 European countries, and is the most widespread, registered alternative form of treatment in 5 out of 15 European countries and among the most frequently used forms of treatment in 11 out of 14 countries.
Homeopathy is popular in many countries, such as France, England, Germany, Hellas, India, Pakistan, Brasil, Argentina, Mexico, and South Afrika. Very often it is medical doctors who get additional education to get licenced to work as homeopaths.
Homeopathy is particularly popular in India. Homeopathy came to India in 1810, and is a strong influence there, with over 120 hundred homeopathic-medicinal colleges. Royal patronage helped the system to have its roots in India. And Mohandas (Mahatma) Gandhi, the "father of the nation", advocated homeopathy strongly too. Today there are 180,000 homeopaths in India, one of the countries where homeopathy is officially recognised. Two more such countries are Pakistan and New Zealand.
About 20% of German medical doctors use homeopathic preparations now and then. About 70% of all medical doctors in Germany have a brief, additional homeopathic education.
About 40% of the French have used such preparations, and 39% of the French medical doctors have prescribed homeopathic remedies.
About 45% of the medical doctors in the Netherlands think these preparations are effective.
A survey in The British Medical Journal (7 June, 1986), shows that 42% of British medical doctors refer patients to homeopathic doctors, who are integrated in the public health system. An article in New York Times says that visits to British homeopaths increased by 39% yearly some years ago.
Homeopathy was once popular in the USA. Around 1900 15% of the medical doctors in the United States were homeopathic MDs. In our days homeopathy is becoming more popular again, after a long time in the dumps there, so to speak. Market research indicates that the sale of homeopathic preparations has increased by 25-50% yearly during the last ten-fifteen years.

Alternative to the Alternative

In recent decades, radionic equipment has been devised to make (a) simulated homeopathic remedies, (b) improved homeopathic remedies (so claimed); and (b) much else. The British MGA (Magneto-Geometric Applications) is a manufacturer of hardware and software. I make software that fits into such hardware.
