Success

Success means different things to different people. There are different forms of success, for example gentle success. The success of Native Indian braves is not all like that. The successes of scholars and scientists are different too. So there are different walks and fields and talks of success.

In the business world there is much drivel about success, but successes are dependent on backup, financing or otherwise, good opportunities and the acceptance and trust that is had. Business people in different business and on different rungs of the ladder to the top for bosses, tell of different means to successes and of different forms of successes in a variety of ways too. A Canadian documentary has, further, shows results of trying to penetrate the mentalities of large, international corporations, and has found some of them psychopathic. Callous was not enough. Better be aware of that and not put your mental health at risk for shallow profit-making.

Besides, according to the fine psychologist Abraham Maslow, there are levels of successes too. Superficial successes in lots of tracks and walks of life can be good, but hardly great, as defined through Maslow's pyramid of needs. It is good for sorting fields, forms and levels of successes, and point to deeper (higher) successes than shallow ones.

Here are 81 quotations or sayings about successes "the American way" mostly. Sayings with no author name to them, if any, can be credited T. Kinnes.
