Celtic tales may be sorted into three large groups: (a) Ancient myths as handed down in Celtic tracts or lands; (b) Medieval collections of many older tales, and legends of saints; (b) Folk tales told in a Celtic language or among Celts - including tales from Ireland, Scotland, Brittany, and Wales. – The English language of these tales is more or less updated.
