Krishna is a Supreme Being and a Lord Himself in the largest branch of Hinduism, Vishnuism. To others in Hinduism he is a deity. Krishna is depicted in the large epic Mahabharata of ancient India. The teaching poem Bhagavad Gita is a chapter in the Mahabharata. In the Uddhava Gita he teaches his friend Uddhava very much too.
