Libra's 9th Dwad in the Light of 'Libra over Gemini' ☼

Dwad and duad both come from dwadasamsa, which is Sanskrit for one twelfth. A dwad is 1/12 of a zodiac sign, so each dwad is a sector of 2½ degrees or arc wide.

The general thinking behind dwads is that the whole is reflected in its part, so that the whole zodiac is reflected in each of its signs somehow, so that there are twelve mini-signs, dwads, in each sign. It is possible to "stack" (apportion) the dwads in the signs in different ways; it is possible to sort them and spread them in different ways throughout the signs. (1) For example, some hold Aries dwad should start a sign. Others hold (2) it had better be the dwad of the sign itself that should hold that place of prominence - two methods of portioning out dwads have been hinted at given. James Lewis:

Dwad, or dwadashamsa, derived from the Sanskrit for 12-division, refers to the 12 subdivisions of 2 ½° that comprise a sign. It is one of the few concepts from Vedic astrology that has been regularly utilized by Western astrologers. Each of the 12 dwads is associated with one of the 12 signs, with the first dwad being associated with the larger sign being subdivided into twelfths. The second dwad is then associated with the next sign in the order of the zodiac, and so forth through all 12 signs. Thus, for example, the first dwad of Scorpio is the Scorpio dwad; the second dwad of Scorpio is the Sagittarius dwad; the third, Capricorn; the fourth, Aquarius; etc. (Lewis 2003, 210)

The dwads indicate an extra influence that is usually ignored by Western astrologers unless they are examining the subtleties of a particular chart. (Ibid.)

Keeping in mind there are other ways to "stack the twelve cards" than dr Lewis describes. - the dwads, that is. People adhere to rules for doing this.

The first dwads (first 2½°) of signs are said to "resonate to their signs". This is the rationale for the traditional portioning-out of mini-signs withing signs. Thus, in this system thinking the first dwad of Libra is a "Libra dwad", accordingly, and so on clockwise. The ninth dwad in such a clockwise, serial order in Libra is the Gemini dwad. By combining claimed hallmarks of both Libra and Gemini, we arrive at many sorts of marks of the dwad under inspection.

Suppose a gate to good living consists of terse statements in a certain order that could be fit for training or practice too, and not just "mental jogging."

There are 144 dwads in the zodiak circle to do this with. Each dwad is thought to foster a special identity or mark of a kind.

It is low to believe in things blindly. We could deal with astrology tenets in order to benefit ourselves far and wide to the extent the planets, including the sun, moon and especially the moon's nodes are fit for interpretations.

Gaining a gate of endearment for the 9th dwad of Libra, is it probable, likely, laughable? Study the given example. Yet see how many terse tenets may appear to be able to stand on their own feet, no matter what idea background or speculations went into them in the first place.

1. Love-given trespassing tends to bring its charms.

Love-given discussions and harmony matter, and so do "trespassing and making way into one another".

Love-evoked flaws, like great possessiveness, may still take a situation firmly in hand.

Great love brings interest in some things, and great love is herding others.

Love charms a lot, and so do fair items for happy encounters.

Congenial wit or wisdom tends to great standards.

Love ensnares, and love-making can put people at ease. Yet trespassers of love have to be guarded against.

Cooperative thinking adjusts.

To weigh this and that in the balance can be almost irresistible.

A fool for love goes for balancing along by seeming agreeable for a long time.

From love, people weigh this and that too, as far as they are able.

We should not pretend to have feelings that are not there.

2. Who spends a lot to put others at ease, guards against being all alone.

Love is an expert at ensnaring and making ad hoc solutions. ◇

Love tends to solution-making and quite naturally.

Having ample space, can dupe fairly naturally.

Thinking your own thoughts seems agreeable, but should be skilful and well guarded to work to your future advantage.

Love ensnares, and so do hobbies that put others at ease.

To think and develop your own thinking, go for reasonable standards of such endeavours.

Love secretly admonishes a lot of persons. Stress and divorce statistics show it. ◊

Basically, thinking one's own thoughts takes much, and remaining alive is also alone.

The easy-gong professional is intelligent enough to be a little superficial as fits.

A hobby or five should be good - including that of posing as a pope of a sort.

To be warm-hearted is not everything in art and living. Lovers are also served by staying tidy and guarding against the negative.

3. Warm-hearted dilettantes may be in for losing a lot.

Quick-witted and warm-hearted communication is a boon. ◇

Warm-hearted communication is quite an art, and so is seeming superficial to one's advantage.

Dilettantes, losing, can develop nervousness and neuroses.

Efficient communication is not all there is to a relationship and the papacy. ✪
