Yukteswar (1855-1936) was a disciple of Lahiri Mahasaya and a guru of Paramahansa Yogananda. He taught astrology and expounded the Bhagavad Gita and the Bible. He also wrote the book The Holy Science, where he linked a form of the Hindu Sankhya philosophy to Bible fragments, as he had been told to do.
